I beat the game with all 20 trinkets in one sitting (previous comment was during a break after a few hundred tries)... had over 1K deaths on this part and about 500 on the last wire challenge in 'the final challenge', though. After about 900 deaths, I actually hit THE VERY LAST SPIKE directly above the trinket on the way down. Pissed me off, but something about this game made me keep trying despite the countless deaths and very close calls.

This looks to be actually easier than the final... the final has a bunch of spikes all up the left wall of the 'Vici!' room and a misleading pathway in the 'Easy Mode Unlocked' that goes to an inescapable row of spikes. Otherwise pretty much the same... I've died a few hundred times on it anyway, so I'd stay it's still plenty challenging.

Oh, how I loved this room... First time took an hour, second time took five minutes, third time took only one minute. I still can't get it on the first try (much less twice consecutively), but it definitely does get easier with practice. This video is still quite impressive though. Job well done!

I found it odd though that when you reach the top, you continue to the right... Am I the only one who backtracks to the left for the trip down?

While there are "more" spikes and the left-right is a little stretched with Vici a little more to the left it's not really that much harder.

Once you do it all the way through it's pretty simple, no doubt this guy can still be good at it.

Man, it definitely took me hundreds of tries to get this the first time. I agree that it gets much easier the more you do it, but I never came back, and now the beta's gone, so I don't know for sure.

Nice. This does get a lot easier when you've gotten it a few times. My record is making it all the way to the final screen before crashing into the wall just above the trinket on my first try of the playthrough. Reaction? "no big deal it's this easy".

The first time I came across this level I just memorized the path as I was falling down the chute on the left. Took me maybe five attempts to get it the first time.

An important key to success is to hug the walls, especially on the way down. When coming down in Vici, start pressing right after the spikes. In Vidi, press left at the very bottom of the screen.

Yes that's the tactic I had to learn t beat it the first time. But looks like you are incredibly good at this; 5 attempts the first time ever you got this? My first time took a thousand!
