Jeru is the real deal I saw him in 94 in Cambridge UK and he toured the whole of Europe went everywhere talked everyone, after the concert I went to the bar and Guru, Premier, afu the tru and jeru where all out talking to the crowd no gangsta shit everything from families to drink to music. Real gentlemen
Hey, so true. I remember the first time I saw Jeru. He was playing in a small joint in a suburb of Copenhagen. After the concert he walked off the stage and shook hands with the people around him including me. Then he sat down in the bar and chilled. I'm pretty sure I also saw him on his way to the S-train station later in the evening.
Not the young ladies, not the queens, not the sisters, but the female species who puts a price on their body and sell themselves out causing harm to others. Why can't the haters of hip hop get that through their heads?
it's refreshing to see a real emcee get that much love from the crowd. i've been to El Paso a couple of times and i did not know that they embraced hip hop like that.wow!!!!
the lyrics speak the truth. first heard this in high school 11 yrs ago what was true then is still true now bitches love power while queens love refinement
