You have a wonderful guitar touch, and your voice is excellent. I would work on more interesting and poetic lyrics. Also try creating more contrasty and interesting musical bridges, and a little more complex rhythm. You could 'edit' and 'develop' this creation, and have a song 10 times as strong. Like others have said, this song has a very positive and uplifting message about maintaining strength of individuality through rough patches of life (that will almost always bring difficult challenges to bear). I really like the soothing tone of the guitar; very heartfelt! Very impressed with the brief slice of falsetto. The guitar work makes me think of Dylan's "Blood On The Tracks" era. A++!!
