  • Japanese folk black metal. Cool..

  • wow what great discovery by myself :D great stuff

  • I picture a bamboo forest.

  • Japenese progressive metal for the fucking win!

  • This is some Ninja Metal here.

  • I like how the indian-like flute, the weirdo man making wolf sounds and the piano, blends with the brutal death riffs.

  • Holy shit, flute is more metal than the guitar! Is that possible??!??!?!!?!?

  • I'm downloading this shit just because of the flute :3

  • jethro tull on crack?

  • sounds good.. will check them out sometime.

  • @TR1V05 Its called progressive :D

  • At least something really original! Rock shamisen sounds like american bad music, but there, The flute has a real importance, it lends itself well to stressful sounds of black metal, which can be found in some traditional music, like in a quick fight Between Two samurai.

  • what type of flute is?

  • @andretos I'm not sure but, according to the profile on their website, Yukihiro Isso plays the Nohkan, Shinobue, Dengakubue, Gemshorn, and Recorder. So it's gotta one of those. I'm guessing it's not the Recorder

  • yup gwup, gwup gwup, woooooooooh!

This song is intense, like some wild battle through a bamboo forest or something...

  • @Dalenbourg Makes you feel like you constantly have to watch your back because you know something's gonna lurk out of the shadows to kick your ass.

  • What a masterpiece!!!

  • anyone knows what kind of flute they use? Is it a Shinobue?

  • Klingt japanisch.

    (Ver)treibt man damit die Wale?

    Düüüdüdeldüdüüü :D

    Der ist echt gut :D:D:D:D

  • there aren't any vocals in this song D:

are there more songs by this band on youtube?

  • Yes! Check out Quest For Blood's channel in the video description. They have uploaded some of their live performances there. If you like this, but with vocals (and no flute), I strongly suggest you listen to Magane.

  • @Gianfrancoco Actually they DO use flute live e.g. Uchina song.

  • Sometimes vocals aren't needed. Alot of the time they can ruin good music.

  • @Red23791 yap. best example.. e'm~grief~

  • @dondondodo I heard vocals after the first minute, are you deaf? Unless you mean no lyrics...

  • @buprenorphed I'm pretty sure he meant vocals as in lyrics. Because these vocals are being used more like rhythmic instruments than anything else. It gives a sort of tribal feel.

  • check intestine baalism, lost eden, blood stain child, shadow, followbane. they're japanese too :]

  • :O 5/5

    ....nothing more to say
