@503478hypershadow105 yes it is i have songs on both ps3 and xbox from the rock band newtork store if u dont know how to access it go to the music store on the main menu and when u click it it will say music store and below it will say rock band network click it and then u can purchase anything from there but ps3 does not have all the songs xbox does i think harmonix said that only the highest rated songs would get put on the ps3

Or do you have to send the song in 4 different versions, vocals, drums, guitar, bass, and even other harmony sounds?

So basically all the band has to do is send them their song right, and weeks later It will show up on the network right?

no actually the band or someone that's a part of the band has to make the charts for the song(s) first for all difficulties and then send it in through the network to get it approved to be on rock band.

Depends on if they launch the store for RB1. Though the latest DLC works with RB1 so I don't see why it couldn't work unless there is some issue with the store.

Though it's only going to launch in US and Europe at first so who knows.

it's real music, just look at it as your normal Rock Band 2 DLC but many times over. There basically given the tools they make current RB2 DLC to anybody to make tracks with existing songs.

So for example, I think there releasing a lot of Harmonix bands music on RBN.
