I got some lessons from him, it was great! I'll definitely go back down there to do some jamming again! The cost for lessons is the usual for the pros, look around on the net and you'll get an idea of the price. :-)

Honestly, I sort of liked your playing better too. You could really tell that Marco wasn't goofing around and that you had taken him off guard. You were really making him work. Great job and a very cool video.

Thanks Matt! In the first clip with Marco he was demonstrating a multipedal groove I was asking about, and in the second video he was showing me one of the kits he programmed on his V-Drums. He enjoyed my playing which was great, there was no pressure and it was like jamming with a friend rather than a famous virtuoso drummer. When we were trading off solos (I wish I had filmed some of that!) I got my ass handed to me and then some! lol, It was great!

Wow thanks! I have lots of footage from the weekend but most of it is lessons for me which I'm not going to post. I just grabbed some random clips from us messing around to put up here. Marco played some incredible grooves and explained some of his songs grooves as well. Next time I'm down there I'll get some footage of us playing a duet or something, though that may be quite a ways in the future!

You just seem to have more groove in your playing, which I really like. Marco is a great drummer, I just find it more structured around more complex ideas and chops which it's a favorite thing of mine to listen to.

Thanks again! Marco has immense amounts of groove though, he played me some big band stuff/gave me a couple CDs of some improve live performances that have some really REALLY tasteful grooving. He is extremely versatile in his playing, as most people know!
