Karen White had a beautiful voice, i wonder where she is now. And it's hard to find a radio station that plays SOUL music, it's been pushed in the background by Rap and Hip Hop. Soul Music is a legacy that should not be pushed into the background but this is true, pure Soul Music. There are some verry good unique Soul voices of this time like Jaheem, Fantasia but you never hear their music. This song is so reminescent of late 80s soul-pop of which Karyn may have been the reigning queen. The melody and synths in this song just make you happy. I'm not sure when exactly this was a hit, but I fell in love with it again in June of 1989. See my next review at Natalie Cole's "Miss You Like Crazy".....
