I've been looking for a vid like this. I work in a candy store now and this song is played every once in a while. I sing along every time I here it.

Did you know they wanted Sammy Davis Jr. to play the part of Bill the Candy store owner? They put that idea aside because they thought that it would make the film more like one of those showbiz movies. So they brought in Aubrey Woods, known for the animated "Santa Claus is coming" movie.

I see what you mean, kevinfreak123, but he doesn't freak me out so much. Just a little bit. It's like he knew that the four kids were gonna get hurt. Watch the movie and whenever a kid does something around that time he's in a monotone.

This song is great. It always seems to be playing in restaurants, hotels and shopping malls every time I visit the United States. I just recognised "The Candyman can" on my last trip and traced the tune here. Good video too.
