  • Wolfgang is WAY too young to be in this band.Sorry Eddie.

  • Bad Video!

  • @Janmandenjensen78 Never said it was high quality. It's taken from a camera, not a video camera, so it isn't going to pickup great sound. Plus, this was the worst sound quality of a VH concert I have ever been to...they couldn't get the sound right most of the night (too much bass).

  • I wonder if David Lee Roth will EVER realize how ridiculous he looks/is...

  • @catch22punk Roth is a true showman! He also schools on guitar and wrote alot of VH songs.

  • I FUCKING love this heaVy machinelike sound

  • I love that Wolfgang axe sick color, only saw him use it in Florida...

  • they sound good musically but am i the only one that thinks daves voice sucks. I mean come on he sounds terrible. Its embarassing

  • When is bring your kid to work day over?

    Bring back MIKE!

  • ah, the mighty alex van halen. I do some VH covers....Unchained, light up the sky. Check 'em!

  • love van halen, seen them live twice in the 80's and it sounded like this also, so loud you couldn't understand what song they were playing, definately need anthony back.

  • alex underrated talented drummer.wow!

  • i was there and the sound was absolutely terrible!!! it sounded just like this vid but louder! and my seats were shit.

  • are u fuckin kidding me ? you morons are talking about this guys weight ? get a fuckin life !!! the only thing to say about this video is the sound fucking blows, but the visual isnt bad for a bootleg.

  • Wolfie is Daddy's son. If he continues being a pice of shit in our culture, we have to deal with that because eddie is very engaged with him.

  • wofgang, like mozart. the kid is talented for his age. if he loses the weight, maybe start his own band, and write kick ass songs like his uncle and dad, he is going to be a new musical force to be reckoned with in the music game.

  • if hes gone and leaves

    mike is back!!!!

    no affence

  • All you guys ripping on Wolf.... I hate to remind you but Michael Anthony was Fat as well.

  • This was my show baby !!!

  • I wish my car can sound like that intro by Rev Al!!! CLASSIC!!!!

  • Alex has always been leader of the band.

  • Please Eddie and Alex are amazing but Diamond Dave is a thousand times better... Miss Mike. VH for life yo'

  • God eddie van halen

  • Michael Anthony :-)

    wolfie :-S

  • wolfie might be better playing in the studio because on stage he looks like he can't wait to eat and play world of warcraft.

  • @nrobnas43 LMARO

  • I WUZ THERE!

  • I got nothing against wolfie (fat fuck) but sad that Michael Anthony aint playing. He deserves the respect. Wolfie should still be on the tour but doing the meal cart. They should at least teach him how to move like a rockstar.

  • eddy van halen has arthritus and cancer! and he can still play like that!

Eddy Van Halen= ULTIMATE ROCK GOD!!!!!!

  • why doesnt the drummer play the intro to the song?

  • because its fucking impossible

  • well i dont really "ENJOY" the fact that eds son is playing bass. but he's not bad! wolfs a good player. i would rather see micheal anthony because that would be the real van halen. but we have to accept him guys, mike aint comin back, especially after they just toured again without him. all i can say is at least they got diamond dave!!

  • so weird to see a kid on the stage

  • As long as he can play I say who cares

  • u had good seats

  • Man, they all have short hair this sucks

  • Some trends end! It's a persaonal choice!

  • what a good drumer

  • AVH is master

  • van halen are awesome bt i mean cum on no offence bt in their prime they wre one of the best bands ever bt now they have aged and they dont sound the same and the singer dont have tht voice tht made it sound gud they shud call it a day and enjoy the royalties lol

  • You've got to remember though that a band like Van Halen don't like sitting around in their later years doing absolutly nothing, they want to keep doing what they love doing until their dead, which reminds me, is Keith Richards dead yet? No offense to him but he looks like he's gonna die everyday. VH kicks ass!

  • when they were in vancouver it was awsome eddie wasnt really drunk

  • i was here :)

  • I dont give a fuck how old they are Old people can rock too.

  • yea thats true

  • iron maiden are living proof

  • Alex Van Halen...you RULE!!!! I wish my car could sound like that!!!

  • Love the bit 3:19 - 3:32 !!! ha ha !! Dave scream is great , and his voice sounds great too !! VAN HALEN RULES !!!

  • That crowd is a super.shit, I'd be jumping if I were there.

  • everything is great about the new van halen exept the hair please can you guys grow some hair please?!?!?!?!

  • bad quality...

  • Wolfgang is a lucky kid

  • wow... dave's actually putting out some energy to hit the right notes! that's one improvement to any live vid you'll find from back in the day! hahahah. thanks dave, it's about time. :)

  • What the hell does the length of his hair have to do with ANYTHING? As long as the music rocks, what's the difference. Does Joe Satriani's shaved head mean that he doesn't rock anymore?

  • My sentiments exactly. I used to have the same opinion as EezOnTheCheese, but I've since grown up :-D I still keep my hair long at the mo though.

I think Eddie looks much better with his hair short, kinda goes back to the Balance era, super cool. He didn't look great in 2004, not that I'm saying he shouldn't grow it out again, its just he doesn't have to.

  • Fuck, you're a cunt aren't you! Great VH fan you are. Arsehole!

  • no doubt, man. couldn't they find a babysitter for his fat ass???

  • go fuck your self

  • breenduhh, you little shit. if you knew anything about VH, you'd know they suck donkey dick now, and need to give it up.

you probably haven't even heard their first album. so, go back to worshipping jonas brothers, dipshit.

  • i was there!!!!! and for anyone that complains about the audio that was the loudest concert ive ever been too and it was in a hockey bank atlantic center which made it even louder

  • they wear the same get up every time ...Ed no shirt & Dave that ridiculous jacket

  • VIP $300???? For this???!!! WOW! thastankanator said it best.....embarrassing.

  • They look great for guys in their fifties, and they still sound great.

  • this doesnt make sense at all cuz its different styles of playing, but a clash of queen and van halen would be great... two totally different things though lol queen is really meaningful good music that takes the time to write their music, and van halen is all drugged up sex addict road guys that are great musicians and come up with great things- more improvision (queen still including freddie, that is)

  • some kids are going crazy here...they wanna see things that a man with 53 years old used to do when he was 20! shut up and thanks heaven that we have the chance to see this guys running whith the devil again! keep rockin

  • You're NEVER too old to Rock. The old view that older people haven't got it anymore is DEAD as far as I'm concerned.

  • true. some do "lose it" but everyone can keep on rocking if they want. i get pretty sick of people dissing older people for cutting loose and having fun... and i'm pretty damn young.

  • Yep, what these dissers of older people seem to forget is that they are not going to be young forever. Ive known some people who said they hope they die before they get old but thats all talk. People still seem to equate old with Grandmothers in woolly hats and granddads wearing woolly cardigans and smoking pipes which is a bull crap cliché.

Bill Wyman who used to play with the Rolling Stones is 72 now but look at him, hes still going strong.

  • DLR, one of the greatest frontmen ever, truly a great showman, I'm sure he's truly amazing to see live, but I must say, this is a little embarassing, just shouting without any respect to pitch or the original melodies, I don't know what to think. I wish he would have worked on his singing as much as he did his abs, maybe then we'd have a really great return of DLR.

  • All i can say is listen to the eary roth stuff and listen to the Hagar stuff. The hagar stuff sounds very 80's and hasnt with stood the test of time. As for the original good old hard rocking roth stuff it sounds as good today as it did when it first came out.

  • embarrassing.

  • fuck of, you dont know what you r saying, bring sammy back and michael, i dont wanna see that old clown in van halen any more, his time has gone

  • You people dont know history if it hit you upside the head.David Lee Roth never sounded good or was a singer that any karoake champ couldnt discrace in a singing competition. Its the VIBE Vanhalen gives off that makes them great.Unfortuanately Hagar ruined that for them in 1995.You have all been spoiled by the slickness that was Vanhager. The meat and potatoes was Roth Raw and gritty. He never changed he sounded just like this in 84 when I saw them in Peoria. They ROCK now like they used to.

  • Your absolutley correct. Dave has always "added lib" and sounded "off" in concert. He sounds exactly like he always did, but these kids on here don't know that. Sammy Hagar was a big red and yellow puff ball wuss.

  • Is it me or has Dave lost the ability to hit the right pitch on these songs. He has to talk his way through some of the parts! Its horrible. And he has no energy! Remeber the old Dave..jumping and shaking his ass...

  • wow. they suck now.

and why they gotta have eddie's son in the band? can't they find a babysitter for his fat ass???

  • Ha! They're still using Mike's vocal track on the chorus! Ha-ha!

  • hot for teacher used to be one of my favorite VH songs before they ruined it with this SUCKY version. speaking of teachers...shouldn't eddie's fatass son be in school now?

  • Why does that kid need school? He's touring the world with Van Halen lol.

  • These guys are older than me and I look out of shape compared to them. Sheesh.

  • Sound-wise this night I think it depended on where one sat. I was side stage 119 18 rows up. I could hear everything seperate and clear, including vocals, but DLR kept asking at this show 'can you hear me out there'? Bank Atlantic is a huge cavern. Jacksonville sounded good to me from 103 too. Ed falling onstage 2-20-08 here at Bank Atlantic has, perhaps, exposed more than just sound problems.

  • Listen as Edward misses the beat and comes in a bar late. He is also plucking is 6ths in a different key [3:23], momentarily. Improvising is one thing, improvising & playing sober are another.

  • Yow. What a mess. Also, Dave used to say...."I got my pennnnsssuuuul." I loved that. I hate it when they change the original version. They may be sick of it, but it's the version that made them all millionaires and it's what I'm paying big bucks to here in Raleigh, N.C. in 2 days!

  • this is rock music no electronic music eddie is one of most clean and virtouse gitar player!!!

  • they say eddie is having hearing problems...don't know if anyone else has heard this...

  • yeah, all that booze does affect ones hearing

  • Fire your tech Ed.

  • Agreed.

  • hey guys im anxious to know which guitar was the white one that he played most of the time. i want it lol you can email me

  • It's one thing to have bad mics, distortion, etc. His playing has been sloppy to say the least. I was at Cleveland - when the tour started. For the most part, they kicked major ass. A trained ear can tell that things are sloppy, off-key, etc. Look up some vids from the earlier shows.

  • yes i herd the same but i went last night and they cleaned it up so no worries for anyone seeing them l8er

  • This is my second VH show in four months. I saw them in NY on Nov 8th, at the Nassau Colosium. The sound in NY was fifty times better, then at Bank Atlantic. I thought the vocals and music sounded pretty distorted this past Tuesday night. The VH energy was there, but I thought the show definitely suffered from poor acoustics and or sound board. My seats were much better here in FL, but I thought the sound of the music was much better in NY. I am glad I got to see them in NY first.

  • i was at the show and it was great. everyone i talked to afterward also said it was great. if you werent there you really cant say anything because it is totally different when your actually hearing it firsthand. the crowd was going nuts the entire two hours and the band was on fire. theres nothing mike anthony could do that wolfgang cant, and mike was never a good bass player and wolfgang can play his parts just fine.

  • I was there and sat in the middle back row and couldn't hear shit. Everybody around me who wasn't bombed out of their minds was complaing about the distortion you can hear in the video, we couldn't hear any singing at all.

  • I've heard varying stories of the sound being good and bad depending on where the person sat. For me, it was decent most of the night, but there were some times where the distortion was really bad. The other problem was they had Wolfie's bass too high. Check out my Mean Street video..bass is overpowering and drowning out the rest of the sound.

The video clarity and sound quality is a lot better on the original video. Seems to have lost quality after upload.

  • You were in the front row right? I was in the Club section $250 right down the middle in the second level.I wrote a letter and sent an email to Bank Atlantic and of course no reply. I have seen VH 6 times and they NEVER sounded like this. If it was just DLR I couldn't hear, that would be one thing, but even the instruments were distorted. I have to admit, in your video here, I could hear him better then we could up top.

  • the sound was pretty good from my seat, which was in the upper deck section 420, to the very right of the stage. the only song that really sounded bad from my seat was atomic punk.

  • I am sure hoping the camera has a bad mic?

  • it almost seems way past time to call it quites dont it. i hate to see the era end for good though

  • they need to get mike back...write a new album..and get some respect back..they are turning into kiss

  • i had a blast in cleveland but im not returning for the pittsburgh show. Hes doing the songs on the fly making them up every night and it sounds pretty bad, almost like hes bored or burned out on em. I'll always dig the studio albums of yesteryear EVH! you are still the man

  • what???? 2007-8 tour is extraordinaire i play guitar, you play guitar and no one rock band in the present sound like van halen , simple-
