Kringe announced february. They alrdy made half the season 3 eps. it was a part of the big season 2 actually. they had to end season season 2 early though cause they needed to finish the rest of the episodes. so basically season three will be another mini season.

I dont know where you have gotten this information from but its a lie, Kring cant announce an air date because nobody knows when the WGA strike is going to finish, until then they cant begin production on the season 3 eps. Also airing dates dont come from the creators they come from the television network, in this case the NBC. Kring cant announce an official air date unless he was told the air date by the NBC.

listen carefully. season 2 was suppose to be 30 episodes long. practically all of the eps wer alrdy half completed. The problem is that the writers strike made it harder to make eps as fast as they use 2. Therfor they had to end season 2 early and finish the rest of the real season n2 eps to make another minni series called villains.

Hopefully they won't need to rewrite it. The powerless episode was changed because of the writer's strike, but it looks like this has nothing to do with the virus. What tim Kring changed in powerless is that Nathan was shot. What originally happened was the virus was released and during Nathan's speech, he collaspes because of the virus.
