I'm planning to build a full size brushless engine to mount on a plane i'll also build and i'm getting steadily closer to do so the more i learn about it.
I'll be needing some very powerful magnets though.
I'm researching it now and i may have to create a vacuum as well to get the best out of the magnets.
I will also amplify the existing output by running a similar, larger setup but with way more coils to get the best power.
Hi Thane nice job and work too I'm very interresting about the motor I take a long time to undestand I hope that I have , if I don't make a mistake it doesn't work at any speed (or angular speed ???
and for the dual path transformer I'll run simulation on FEMM 4.2 (very powerfull magnetic soft) have a nice day and take care to the dog
Thane, you have explained things so clearly in your various videos I understand what is going on. I have been building some similar motors to test these ideas about the capacitance in the coil, where the "free energy" can come from. Frankly your demos are so good they have answered all my questions and I don't need to build them to test the ideas. Great job and thankyou!
Outstanding work!! This looks a lot like what Bedini is doing in the 'Energy From the Vacuum Series', plus he harnesses the back EMF hv spikes to charge batteries. You can do similar kinds of things with pulsed DC electronic circuits!! Try it and see (checkout Grey's motor etc.)!
I had an Idea if these coils have Iron or other ferris cores then use an electronic switch circuit to keep the load open until the last moment before the magnets influence on the core is broken then let the collapsing magnetic field generate the power as it passes through the windings, as such only the magnets interaction with the core as it passes it will affect the energy required to run the motor! Or at least I think it might work that way?!
looks like interesting stuff and I hope that you finally create the results I long to see. So you are feeding in 243W and getting out 30W. A couple of quick questions.
1) Are the input and output measurements AC or DC?
2) Is the output current and voltage you show from one coil?
3) Are you hoping to increase the efficiency of the motor or perhaps, dare I say it, reach or exceed unity?
4) If you have success, will you and the university be publishing the details of your design to the world, or will you be selling it to an individual company?
Just so you know, I am an engineer and I am not opposed to the possibility of reaching over unity. I had to do a quick Google crash course in Lenz's Law to get back up to speed. :)
Good video there!

I'm on to something, right?

223 watts in and 272 watts out?
Is that correct?

Absolutely wonderful!
Are those Neo magnets? If so, what strength (N40 N50 etc).
The coils look like air core, but it could be metal squares that they sit on... it's hard to tell from the video.
Are you rectifying the voltage produced from the coils or simply allowing them to be spikes/AC?
Tons of questions...
This is great stuff! Keep up the great work!
All the best to you!

I heard of your device from a friend who saw you at the IP conference. Have you gotten any patents for it yet?

Excellent demo Thane!
Thanks for all your devoted work to help make Earth Day even better.
Looking forward to the next step of working with you to turn your Generator in an efficient Resonating Motor-Generator

Awesome work by the way. We need more Thanes in the world. Now more then ever before.
