Step by Step Tensegrities (the real thing)

Hi

I bought 3 tensegrity models a few years ago, but have always had trouble duplicating the effort. It appears from you video that each strut has two triangular tension components. Is this true? Also, have you seen any software that would be helpful in trying out various structures? What did you use to produce this video for the computer graphics?
