  • Do these rules vary at all in England? I know we do some things different. Im pretty sure that on the 10th rule, I was taught at school not to use punctuation where a joining word is used. That may be due to having a rubbish memory and was not actually taught that or that's just how it's done in America but not England.

  • Professor Ruth Hannah's teaching is clear and concise. Students do find this tricky, but these rules, if carefully noted and practiced, will give greater confidence in the use of commas.
