I was drum major for six years in high school and college in the '60s and would have killed to have led a group like this! To be fair, we marched before the advent of the fab drum lines, etc., so we were above average, but nowhere close to this! Swing on!

if you want to hear us, our actual perfomance is on this channel. This was 2 years ago. Since then, my marching band has received best brass, best marching, best woodwinds, best music, best drum major, best drumline, best percussion, and best overall at every competition. We have received only ratings of superior and we plan on getting even more skilled.

I know in my high school there was a guy named Jeff Mackey who didn't like my trumpet playing and he'd come up behind me and just blast a double C into my ear. I don't know if he thought it irrirated me but I actually liked it. He could hold it and make it tune, and play in high register too. Sadly, I think he gave up trumper.
