To claim it is not possible at all for god to exist is illogical but it is not illogical to believe something doesn't exist because there is no evidence for it's existence. In general people who are agnostic are unsure of they belief, or lack of, in god.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this position is "agnostic atheism" where you believe god does not exist but do not claim absolute knowledge, this is the position most people take when they say they are an atheist.
