I hate it now that the stupid Storm Stories and How Weather Changed History crap messes up the local forecast schedule. Seems like when you need to watch the radar the most, you can't get it because of the programming. TWC sucks now

I agree, they all rode the greedy national trend of heavily advertising and local business product jiggles around 2000 - Now you have to sit through 5 or more minutes of garbage just to get your local forecast. They cram as much crap as they can squeeze on screen. The TV guides are just as bad if not worse.

Ah, the good old days. I remember turning 14 that year. This is back when the weather channel was great. Now it's a bunch of bullshit commercials and filler reruns of "when weather changed history." Bring us back our old weather channel !

the only show that i liked from the weather channel was storm stories. but i also miss the old weather channel!!! especially the 1998 through 2007! one time, i felt like crying when i saw the old intros on youtube for the first time! i think NBC Universal pretty much messed up The Weather Channel.

The problem with NBC is that they keep monopolizing. Had you ever wonder what happened to NBC's Weather Plus? Mostly because lots of people didn't watch that compare to The Weather Channel. Lots of people watch The Weather Channel more than any other weather information source. The company of Landmark wanted to sell The Weather Channel. I felt pretty bad when I barely found out about it. Then NBC Universal bought the TWC to replace NBC's Weather Plus. Monopoly is causing the companies to change.
