I love the Kiwis dude, apart from him of course. I've many friends down there, musical friends too, but I've never heard C**t lowe giving them a shout out! I've no idea how he did it. I lived in London in the late 90's & there was loads of Kiwis, Ozzies & irish there. I guess he came to the UK then. He was a good looking bloke, that helped & he seemed to support alternative music. So far so good. it was only when he started to become established he became a prat. It went to his head!

He does believe he is an important patron of music, elieving himself more important than most of the musicians he plays. I particularly am not a huge fan of Zane Lowe's interviews they just come out as interesting in my opinion but at the same time, i don't know why you think he was out of line - it was a minor scale... there is an arabic scale. but its not what muse uses in USoE. The arabic scale is completely different from our Post-Bach scales in western music. It has some quarter tones in it actually. So its no equal tempered scale. And what muse uses in USoE is a well tempered scale like every band else uses too. They just include tones that sounds to us western people like arabia, cause its been used in movies so often. But its not the originial arabic scale.
