omg dude idk what i did the first time wrong but i got this rom running so smooth now and the main reason i have it its for the voice text input idk if it came with the rom but i happen to have the apk and know how to install it, and the accuracy is amazing i can say a whole sentence and it gets it right... so much for typing now :)
I have sensehero 1.4 on my phone now and im thinking about switching to either this rom or jac's new xRom. The only thing im worried about is the linux swap. Do the roms still run fast and smooth without it?
well those apps dont "overclock" the cpu, but they are called overclock apps. they cause the min and max cpu to be the 528 (max the phone is capable of). This is because our phones have cpu scaling, which essentially is to save the battery when your not using tasks that require the full 528
next, i know i can run 2.1 on my g1 (probably because i already am)
lastly, the g1's cpu IS "strong" enough for the "3D interface" (2.1) and rooted g1s will have the option to flash that rom soon.

nexus is a phone android is 2.1 to be more accurate 2.0.1(its enhancements not the next big build if u don't believe then to to Googles sdk page bye....

Man this 2.1 look no different than 1.6...
I have 1.5+sense UI right now..and I'm loving it. However this is a great ROM btw

if i had to get a new phone, it would probably be whatever the nexus ends up being when it hits the market
