@sexyrexysexy The 2000 is much better at lower volumes but when the Beosound 1 gets above volume 44 the sub really starts to kick in and I think it starts to sound much better. Also having the stand really improves the bass too. The beosound 2000 is better at lower volumes that is it. Either are still pretty damn good.

i have a B&O Avant tv and a $7000 THX jamo 7.1 with a marantz amp .

as a home system. i was so happy with the sound of the tv that i had to turn the amp off & just let the B&o do it thing. i never used my Jamo's any more so i sold it.

What im trying to say is that i enjoy hearing my Movies & music from a B&o then any other brand.

you pay for d experience & a new level of sound that u will never hear from any other brand.

B&o are the best 4 a reason. don't knock it till u own 1.

I bought 2 sets of old 80' s B&O's for very little money.

They outplay all speakers I've ever had. Clean, crisp, natural and honest.

A true delight.

Even when watching DVD's, I prefer this double stereo set over my new 5.1 surround, since It's way less tiresome.

How can you call B&O rubbish, that is about the dumbest statement I have ever heard. It's like saying ferrari is rubbish. Yes there are quicker cars than ferrari but thats not what they are about. They are about design, engineering, quality and at the end of the day pulling the ladies. A sony will at best get you some hooker from the side of the road lol. Na sonys pretty good too just not as good.

Some of the price has to go to that.

I think what people realy mean is that for the same price you can get slightly better sound if you don't mind less design and innovation money being spent on an item.

But of course B&O are a high end item and certainly cannot be called shit!

yeah right expensive rubbish...that's why it took them two years to produce this product.i've had one for 5 years and it sounds amazing each speaker has it's own amplifier

Agreed mine is just about a year and a half old and I am very happy with it&s sound. A great stereo. The only things it needs is BL and DAB.

@ugp4130 hey man, i know this is an old ass comment, but can you help me, you seem to know something. today i bought the AUX cable that connects my b&o mp3 (beosound 6) to this machine. my concern is that for some reason, the quality of the sound coming from the mp3 through the AUX port, isnt as great as i expected. for example the volume would be on full, and it doesnt match the same quality i get from cd or radio. i even compared 2 same songs, one played on b&o using AUX

@ugp4130 . i even compared 2 identical songs, one played on b&o using AUX, and the same song played on my computer using these BOSE companion 3 speakers. and shockingly and sadly, the song played on bose sounded much clearer, even louder, (and these bose speakers are small) oh i also am using SRS audio sandbox enhancer for the computer speakers. but even still i was expecting the BO to sound 16 times better. any ideas whats the issue here?

OK thanks for that. Again if you like bass then no B&O speaker is for you. I like a balanced sound and that's why I love B&O. Music and sound is a personal taste.

Do speakers have to have cones? lol

Out of interest, where did you hear it and how loud was it?

expensive rubbish. i've heard this, it sounds worse than a $300 sony mini hifi because it doesnt have speaker cones and is made entirely of plastic.
