We have enough means to identify ourselves for the nation’s good – through the Ration Card, the Voter’s ID and the PAN#. If this UID number/book/card should replace these three and contain only that information that was contained on those three documents, then it should be okay.
Yes, this is truly turning out to be real danger to the society – the UID Number Project. Invading his/her privacy is just not acceptable, as we all have our own rights to decide what is right for our body. The human body belongs to GOD. No central authority/universal authority should have command over this.
Isn't this violation of privacy ? Who is gonna store these fingerprints and what assurance the people will have that this will happen in a secured and safe way. Who is authorized to gain access to these stalled data? Remember how easy the Nazis could arrest all Jews b/c they had everything well recorded (inc. the faith of the German population )..As long as you never have done anything criminal, you should not criminalize citizens by storing his / her data, which are only meant for prospecting.
