However ignorance can sometimes be bliss but it also takes some diligence to approach life knowing its not always so nice and forgiving. It can buy you comfort, pleasures, and excellent care but I personally would like to be poor but healthy than rich and dying (and unable to do anything with it despite all my wealth).

@Kubwaw Dying is a rather extreme case and you'd have to be a moron to want to have money knowing you're gonna inevitably die. The point is money offers you a lot of ways to improve your life and in the long run be healthier than the average Joe from the trailer park that stuffs his face with McD's every day and constantly stresses about financials. You can have money and not want to sniff coke off whore's asses. Happiness and a good lifestyle lead to better health in the long run.
