I also loved the idea of turning the goal of feeling motivated to play into finding behavioural tricks to take the action we want to motivate!!

Sounds like you're mad. How are they higher rated than you, yet worse? The only question that matters in this or any game is: "did you win the game?". If the answer is no, figure out why.

day9 im noticing all these platinum and diamond level players that dont have very good basic skills in sc2. I have been in gold and platinum league for all the seasons that i have played on yet my basics for macro are farrrrrr more crisp than these players yet i cannot get past the part where players cheese me pretty consistantly, i rarely do risky builds such as fe for this reason and im getting very frustrated that these scrubs call themselves diamond level players yet they dont build scvs.

@HDVesta At what point in the game are you losing to players not building scvs? It's possible you're making bad choices when it comes to battles or tech-ing too much and not having enough units. Do you have any replays? I'm not a fantastic Starcraft player but maybe a fresh pair of eyes can see a flaw in your games.

@HDVesta I think that there are not so many choices left for you. Either rewatch your gameplay WITHOUT just yelling "cheeser!" at your enemy, even though your macro might be better, and start holding off such things OR you could just switch the game.

I'm serious, there's no need of playing sc2 when you feel frustrade because you think that you are, or maybe even are, better than everybody who beats you in the game.

I agree with hit9uget9. I'm an bronze league an most of the time u don't need to think along those lines. For me 50-60% of games are some sort of cheese or 1base all in, so your lucky to even build more than 4 different types of units lol

Day9, i'm actually pretty pissed at u...I'm in silver, i think all those damn questions...And th guys don't have exceptional APM or micro, but I know, i'm pretty critical...(MY APM really sucks) I had a mass loss of 1 win and about 6 losss when the new season started, played about 15 games since that time. Anyone know of a pro Terran that go mech builds in SC2 ? Wanna compare my Terran build with one. Its hellion, Tank, Viking, Thor. Getting Raven for detection for army/PD drone as fast as possible and Banshees when ahead for harass. Early harass with Hellions as well. Kicks Very Hard AI's butt even though my main race is Protoss.
