So guys i'm a little bit confused now, I'd like to this game but is this really up to its predecessor ? I've played star ocean 2, valkyrie profile, final fantasy games etc.. Will I like this one ? Is the battle system the same kind? hard long fights? I want a really big challenge !
@TropicalTendencies this game is amazing hard giant bosses and ether queen and gabriel are unbeatable on the hardest mode 6 wings so get this game its amazing, but once u get DRAGONS ROAR everything will get easier

On December 12, 2012, all of the main characters from all Tri-Ace games are going to meet up on this earth and have one last battle to determine who is the strongest out of all of them. Lenneth, Capell, Edge, Jack... all of them. That is going to be one awesome day...

@frazzleberry Depends on the type. If you have XBOX 360, you won't be able to have the anime style, but if you have PS3, my best guess is on options (I have xbox, so I'm not sure)
Tri-ace should have made SO4 in celshading or with the same anime style from SO3(but with better textures/more detailed polygons).
It's creep sometimes those real-anime graphics from SO4.The characters have real textures,but the eyes/expressions and general proportions are too much anime for them.(face shape,for example....anime-like shape,real textures).

And technically, u cannot clear all bosses with arumat, edge, meracle, and reimi, because u don't recruit arumat until half way thru and meracle when u reach alt earth. So u would, or wouldn't depending on who u included in, need a healer, & Edge heals so... Nothing to be proud of unless all battle trophies are 100%... Which took me 2playthrus for it, and 432hrs 46mins
Why? As someone with Japanese interests & background, I prefer sticking to it. Plus some, & I say some, English voice acting literally suck. However, I do not hate English voice cast, just cannot stand hw they try so hard & fail. Anyway this argument is too subjective to opinions and personal preference. It's up to u if u don't like what I'm saying.

Is this the International Version? Cuz I know it's the one which lets you change to anime pictures and japanese voices, but at the end of the battle, skuldnoshinpu got an XBOX achivement, and the Int. Ver. was for PS3 only, right?
yup International version = ps3 Only, and this is the Japanese 360 version of the game....I'm jealous of those who have the international ver.... man I should have bought a PS3 instead of a 360...because the english voices in the 360 version SUCKS big time
@kusanagi91 The Int. isn't really much different, though. No new extras apart from a couple of items, so unless you really, really hate the English VA then you aren't missing much.

Well that depends, because this game has quite a nice replay value, so even if the trophies are gone, you'll get the satisfaction of playing it again ^^... well that's just me.
@kusanagi91 Oh no dude don't get me wrong, I wasn't bashing the Star Ocean series, I LOVED Till the end of time (my main party is over level 200 lol), and I haven't played the last hope yet.

@robert23456789 she is in the 20th floor of the Wandering Dungeon. you can only get there after you beat the game plus beating the Cave of Seven Stars
@Jecht301010 After u finish the game a locked room near the final boss opens. There u fight the Undying Dragon. It gives u the Darkness Ring needed to open the first of the two bonus dungeons (The Seven Star Cave on Roak). After clearing it go to EN II and use the elevator to go to the Old Road to Sanctuary. There's a guy down there that'll open the Wandering Dungeon for u. Be ready tho. No save points and once u leave u have to start over when u return.
if I have an accessory that shoots dark energy when guarding, are my attacks useless against her, or is it just the energy blasts that don't damage her?
@CrystalFlames i believe you figured it out but yeahy she is completely immune to elements but she is vulnerable to stun more than gabriel so i suggest you make stun weapons and kick her ass if only it was as easy as valkyrie profile lenneth

@poseidon8525 hmmmm O_O well my game hanged sometimes too (2 times in the 7stars and 1 time in the labyrinth but never been hanged while i was fighting) maybe cuz of many save date in ur ps3 or cuz of the version of ur game (mine is an european version)? dont know really why.... PS: its gonna be really a hard time for me if it hanged while shes nearly dead (20 maps in the labyrinth and a hard fight without saving) dam......nnn

T_T because of this too many hangs, it becomes to me a habit everyday to enter Wandering Dungeon and complete all the battle trophies for each character...BUT NEVER TO REACH ETHEREAL QUEEN IN 6 WINGS...(but I'll try if there's any chance to not hang in that fight ^_^ )
@oxoConstantinEoxo After you ended the game u could save it and use the last save to play 2 another secret dangeons (google for more) ... this one is the absolute endboss of the game

@oxoConstantinEoxo No it's not a new game. After you have defeated Satanail in Palace of Creation, you have to SAVE the game not "IGNORE" it. You notice that the other 2 doors are close, right? ^_^ before getting inside the throne of the apostle.The Left Door is a dragon called Undying Dragon. Beat it and you can get Darkness Ring and then go to colos. in Roak and head left. After you beat the boss there, go to EN II and then, sanctuary, talk to a man there and he will guide you in Wandering D.
@LordArion201 In two winged form, 130 and up. I four winged form, 170 and up and in 6 winged form, I've tried to beat her but it keeps hanging when I'm fighting her at 6 winged form(which is definitely HORRIBLE!! T_T). It happened to me 2 times!! T_T. Anyways, 190 and up is the recommended level because "it really takes time" to beat her(The average time to defeat her at 6 winged is 1 hour) . She doesn't drop anything but you can get Ethereal Queen's Feather after she congratulates??? you ^_^
In Star Ocean 3, "ALL" is possible such as taking no damage, immune to spells, etc but in this game, "SUCH" conditions like this are absolutely impossible. I noticed that in my game, even their defenses are all max, they still took damage which is quite promising(like 56 damage, etc).
@kay2kid never mind it seems that healing spam is something like Auto healing skill.
and i beat her today twice, first with 2 wings in 20th floor and with 4 wings right after it in 22nd floor, she put a hell of a fight with 4 wings thats why i didnt fight her with 6 wings. i dont want to lose all that progress.
@poseidon8525 she seems to want to torture us players. I beat her in Star ocean 3, but i dont know about this time and if she's here in gabriel is too X(
@Minan3 Ethereal Queen is MUCH MUCH easier than Lenneth. I can't believe she's too easy. The only difference is that her HP is double. But right now, I will try and try to beat her. In Star Ocean 3, I've played earth mode to Full active mode(another 4D mode) but in this game, I think I will play this in a single level, The galaxy evel ^_^
@poseidon8525 so true Lenneth took me awhile to get used to, but Ethereal Queef just needs a couple bombs during that one special lol(assuming SO3). Forget galaxy mode though if you actually unlocked 4D, Universe, and Full Active yourself it'll get too damn easy.(well w/ the exception Freya obviously lol) Getting some of the trophies have ridiculous conditions:
"defeat Luther at lvl.1" ,"defeat Freya w/o damage in universe mode" (that's a good one lol, practically impossible)
@cemetary665isVictor Definitely, but I acquired the two trophies that you have said in Star Ocean 3 ^_^ Too hard and you must have an excellent strategy for defeating Luther in such a low level..T_T.. right now, I'm currently busy trying to beat universe mode in SO4 so that I can try also the chaos mode.^_^
@poseidon8525 Oh yeah never mind, let me guess you probably have to synth Boots of Prowess x 8 then equip for the "uber" characters.for 9999atk/def. Luther doesn't seem that bad, but how about like "beat Freya alone" or in 15 min. Technically thet're all possible, but cmon w/o someone on bomb patrolher other attacks may suck at the max lvls and def 9999 def , but I'm pretty sure your not immune to ether strike (though you may know when she gets pissed off and does it before doing lol).
@xohlic if i had to,,,well...maybe EQ first cuz I think her divine wave is a pain...but depends...if gabriel spams his "indiscrimination" attack too much, then i'll finish him first (in six wings)
Too many comments to read them all, so I'll ask my question and hope for a serious answer (meaning: no braggy kids saying they beat her at lvl 1) I never attempted her yet (i play on ps3), cuz when i was ready to (lvl 235-255), my ps3 died on me and i lost all my data, but anyway, here i am again, lvl 170-220 or so, with mostly best weapons i can get so far, so is she doable at this point? What do i need as stats/accessories/etc, to make sure i dont make my way to floor 20 just to get raped :p
@missrazkiel im playing this for 360 and I have a party of all 200s, sarah myuria and arumat, and 236 edge, I had max of all recovery items as well as the appetite skill maxed, actually lol all skills for those chars were maxed even optional ones like steal, also I had synthesized armors to have overall + 50percent defense and for sarah and myuria I had skills like fast cast and int boost and mp boost. Also had fairy bracelets with extra mp recovery synthesized in them for my casters.
@waybackintheday101 also I had attack percentage + synthesized into my weapons for arumat and edge, they had at least plus 35 percent attack for each weapon as well as attack up skill for edge to give him plus 1000 attack. Also I healing bracelets for both edge and arumat with healing randomly effects on them as well as auto healing skills on them both maxed skill for those auto healing. Idk the rest of my equipment but with what I told you I beat her. hope this helps :D pm me for more!
@waybackintheday101 Thanks, I managed to do her first form kinda easily at lvl 200-225 or so. However I'm playing on ps3, so the stuff is a little different. Not exactly in a good manner I must say, in my case, the game tends to "freeze" frequently in wandering dungeon, meaning I lose all my progress/lvl etc. Right now it just did it again and I'm on 16th floor, quite frustrating cuz all i can do is reset he ps3 -.- I sent it to Sony already to have it fixed but it seems they fixed nothing :(
@missrazkiel on her 4 wings though she loves to spam supernova already and i barely beat her with about 2 more reviving items (make sure to have "ressurection unit" if u haven't already)...never tried 6 cuz im pretty sure she'll rape me
@qwerty1234524 I always go there with 20 of each: resurrection units, resurrection elixirs, fresh sages, resurrection (and res+) cards, and restoration cards. If I cant make it with all that, in galaxy mode, I'll send a complain to square enix xD But like I mentioned in a previous post, my biggest problem now is the game crashing on me during "ambushed" battles (sometimes). Happened to me on floor 16 yesterday -.- lost about 12-15 lvl on each char, my recipe from santa, and my will to play :(
@qwerty1234524 Randomly, the image freezes but the sound goes on. However it stays like that forever and doesnt "unfreeze". Only option left is turn off the console :(

@qwerty1234524 Do you play on ps3 (international) too? As for the system getting too hot, I first thought that too, cuz it used to happen after 3-6 hours of gameplay. But then again, i didnt design the wandering dungeon to have 20 floors and no save point ;p What were they thinking!? lol... But last time it happened to me after barely 2 hours of gameplay. If its a bug on international encoding, then they should fix it on an ps3 update or something :( i wanna beat the queen again, but yah...

@qwerty1234524 I cant play Chaos mode yet, need to complete in universe first :( If Sony didnt make me format my ps3 when I sent it for repair, I wouldnt have lost that 291 hours of game play I had before! ;p
But like I said before, if there is a "bug" in the "after game", Square Enix should have a look at that and give us a patch >.>
Seems the only area based attacks she uses are divine wave, or does she have celestial star or phantom destruction in this one, I've beat Gabriel Celeste, with time and effort, and am going to face her next.
you know for some reason the Japense Version of Star ocean The interface looks so much better then that of English interface also the Character pics look tons better.
Nice Job on this boss took me a while to kill, Eventually i jused used Reime, Arumat, lylme and Sarah. worked like a charm just used Berzerk with Reimei and Arumat and just spammed Savage sparrow and Dragons Roar. again Nice Video

WARNING: This is fake. Defeating the Ethereal Queen with Lymle in under 10 minutes is not possible. No one can do it. It's suicide. tri-Ace implanted a virus into this game to make certain that the Platinum trophy is never awarded to anyone in this world. Take my advice. Do not attempt this Battle trophy. It isn't possible. Even at level 255, it's still not possible. NO. ONE. CAN. DO IT!
@MasterOfBastards obviously u wernt paying attention. the battle wasnt won by lymle it was won by remi and to get the trophy lymle has to be shown at the end of the battle and it is possible it just takes a hell of a lot of luck to get that last blow with lymle

It is not possible even at Max level 255, synthesize strongest gears, you will still die and if Ethereal Queen's 6 wing, she cannot be defeated due to her Supernova attack at max power. Max power is where it will grab all players from anywhere and mass murder them all. Here are the 6-winged Ethereal Queen's stats: Equipment: Ethereal Queen's Staff Omega, Valkyrie Grab Omega, tri-Emblem Omega, Supernova Killer Omega. HP- 2347293472398, ATK-99999, DEF-9999999999, INT-99999
@MasterOfBastards save slots for 2 wings ethereal queen, another for 4 wings, and if you want another for 6 wings, my friend dealt with lymle's trophy for 2 wiings.
@Zeldaboy25 You can't do that! There is 100% no way to predict if she is near death because the US version has the HP display for Ethereal Queen removed and replaced with ?????. The Japanese version allows the HP display for that battle. Furthermore, fighting her with 6 wings is 100% massive suicide. No one beat her due to her killing attacks. Supernova has been widen to max level, making every area where the players gets sucked in and take 50,000 HP per hit up to 2 hits. No survivors.
@qwerty1234524 No. Not if Ethereal Queen is 6 wings. Furthermore, synthesized gears doesn't help. Each upgrades gives you only a maximum of 30+ attributes. Very little for the US version. Being at max level 255 also doesn't help. Defense cannot be increased. Earth Level is not the answer either. What ever the case is, the following trophies are confirmed 100% fake:
@MasterOfBastards i didnt say 6 wings, thats why there's a little thing in games called save slots. my friend had to go through the wandering dungeon more than once of course to get the achievement and yeah it was in galaxy mode. you dont need ethereal queen 6 wings to get the achievement/battle trophy fo lymle (at least in xbox 360)
I got a question. Why is it that the extra dungeons in Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean games feature the same bosses? I remember reading somewhere that they were the same series. I don't believe it to be so. Can anyone give me some feedback? I've looked up all the Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean games and didn't come to a conclusion as to why the bosses are the same. Besides the fact that both titles are made by the same company.
@HolyDeity It is like a signature thing about games.. Another instance of this stuff is also in Finay Fantasy Series.. the series has no connection to each other's storylines whatsoever but many of them features same stuffs like Bahamut, Cactuar, etc etc.
The end game is where it all really begins. The story is fun and all so are the side quests. However the big thing is the Bosses. You have to put so much prep time into Gabriel and Ethereal Queen that you'll prob end the game around 100 hours of Gameplay.
as much as i love lymle and used trinity blaze every battle. the EQ is the one fight where she shouldnt be used...

And technically, u cannot clear all bosses with arumat, edge, meracle, and reimi, because u don't recruit arumat until half way thru and meracle when u reach alt earth. So u would, or wouldn't depending on who u included in, need a healer, & Edge heals so... Nothing to be proud of unless all battle trophies are 100%... Which took me 2playthrus for it, and 432hrs 46mins

Why? As someone with Japanese interests & background, I prefer sticking to it. Plus some, & I say some, English voice acting literally suck. However, I do not hate English voice cast, just cannot stand hw they try so hard & fail. Anyway this argument is too subjective to opinions and personal preference. as for me im a super pro gamer #1 in dbrb in the world but my fav is rpgs i only fight with all my characters on manual when i fight hard bosses and i do 4 corners and have ppl back up edge and reset my combos with countering u should try it guys it works although it willl be ''harder'' to fight like this but i assure you coming from a so veteran its better to put them all on manual and do combos and switch u will discover how to link ur teams combos better with each other and u will rape.

Is this the International Version? Cuz I know it's the one which lets you change to anime pictures and japanese voices, but at the end of the battle, skuldnoshinpu got an XBOX achivement, and the Int. Ver. was for PS3 only, right?

@Jecht301010 After u finish the game a locked room near the final boss opens. There u fight the Undying Dragon. It gives u the Darkness Ring needed to open the first of the two bonus dungeons (The Seven Star Cave on Roak). After clearing it go to EN II and use the elevator to go to the Old Road to Sanctuary. There's a guy down there that'll open the Wandering Dungeon for u. Be ready tho. No save points and once u leave u have to start over when u return.

@CrystalFlames i believe you figured it out but yeahy she is completely immune to elements but she is vulnerable to stun more than gabriel so i suggest you make stun weapons and kick her ass if only it was as easy as valkyrie profile lenneth

I'm sure she's not immune to them, just resistent.
I've seen Lymle's Hound Bulleto do damage to her.
PS: I got the Int version and put it all on Japanese stuff, so I'm translating everything.
I know it's Hound Grenade. :D

@poseidon8525 hmmmm O_O well my game hanged sometimes too (2 times in the 7stars and 1 time in the labyrinth but never been hanged while i was fighting) maybe cuz of many save date in ur ps3 or cuz of the version of ur game (mine is an european version)? dont know really why.... PS: its gonna be really a hard time for me if it hanged while shes nearly dead (20 maps in the labyrinth and a hard fight without saving) dam......nnn

@oxoConstantinEoxo No it's not a new game. After you have defeated Satanail in Palace of Creation, you have to SAVE the game not "IGNORE" it. You notice that the other 2 doors are close, right? ^_^ before getting inside the throne of the apostle.The Left Door is a dragon called Undying Dragon. Beat it and you can get Darkness Ring and then go to colos. in Roak and head left. After you beat the boss there, go to EN II and then, sanctuary, talk to a man there and he will guide you in Wandering D.

I four winged form, 170 and up and in 6 winged form, I've tried to beat her but it keeps hanging when I'm fighting her at 6 winged form(which is definitely HORRIBLE!! T_T). It happened to me 2 times!! T_T. Anyways, 190 and up is the recommended level because "it really takes time" to beat her(The average time to defeat her at 6 winged is 1 hour) . She doesn't drop anything but you can get Ethereal Queen's Feather after she congratulates??? you ^_^

In Star Ocean 3, "ALL" is possible such as taking no damage, immune to spells, etc but in this game, "SUCH" conditions like this are absolutely impossible. I noticed that in my game, even their defenses are all max, they still took damage which is quite promising(like 56 damage, etc).

and i beat her today twice, first with 2 wings in 20th floor and with 4 wings right after it in 22nd floor, she put a hell of a fight with 4 wings thats why i didnt fight her with 6 wings. i dont want to lose all that progress.

@Minan3 Ethereal Queen is MUCH MUCH easier than Lenneth. I can't believe she's too easy. The only difference is that her HP is double. But right now, I will try and try to beat her. In Star Ocean 3, I've played earth mode to Full active mode(another 4D mode) but in this game, I think I will play this in a single level, The galaxy evel ^_^

@poseidon8525 so true Lenneth took me awhile to get used to, but Ethereal Queef just needs a couple bombs during that one special lol(assuming SO3). Forget galaxy mode though if you actually unlocked 4D, Universe, and Full Active yourself it'll get too damn easy.(well w/ the exception Freya obviously lol) Getting some of the trophies have ridiculous conditions:
"defeat Luther at lvl.1" ,"defeat Freya w/o damage in universe mode" (that's a good one lol, practically impossible)

@poseidon8525 Oh yeah never mind, let me guess you probably have to synth Boots of Prowess x 8 then equip for the "uber" characters.for 9999atk/def. Luther doesn't seem that bad, but how about like "beat Freya alone" or in 15 min. Technically thet're all possible, but cmon w/o someone on bomb patrolher other attacks may suck at the max lvls and def 9999 def , but I'm pretty sure your not immune to ether strike (though you may know when she gets pissed off and does it before doing lol).

Too many comments to read them all, so I'll ask my question and hope for a serious answer (meaning: no braggy kids saying they beat her at lvl 1) I never attempted her yet (i play on ps3), cuz when i was ready to (lvl 235-255), my ps3 died on me and i lost all my data, but anyway, here i am again, lvl 170-220 or so, with mostly best weapons i can get so far, so is she doable at this point? What do i need as stats/accessories/etc, to make sure i dont make my way to floor 20 just to get raped :p

@missrazkiel im playing this for 360 and I have a party of all 200s, sarah myuria and arumat, and 236 edge, I had max of all recovery items as well as the appetite skill maxed, actually lol all skills for those chars were maxed even optional ones like steal, also I had synthesized armors to have overall + 50percent defense and for sarah and myuria I had skills like fast cast and int boost and mp boost. Also had fairy bracelets with extra mp recovery synthesized in them for my casters.

@waybackintheday101 also I had attack percentage + synthesized into my weapons for arumat and edge, they had at least plus 35 percent attack for each weapon as well as attack up skill for edge to give him plus 1000 attack. Also I healing bracelets for both edge and arumat with healing randomly effects on them as well as auto healing skills on them both maxed skill for those auto healing. Idk the rest of my equipment but with what I told you I beat her. hope this helps :D pm me for more!

@waybackintheday101 Thanks, I managed to do her first form kinda easily at lvl 200-225 or so. However I'm playing on ps3, so the stuff is a little different. Not exactly in a good manner I must say, in my case, the game tends to "freeze" frequently in wandering dungeon, meaning I lose all my progress/lvl etc. Right now it just did it again and I'm on 16th floor, quite frustrating cuz all i can do is reset he ps3 -.- I sent it to Sony already to have it fixed but it seems they fixed nothing :(

@qwerty1234524 I always go there with 20 of each: resurrection units, resurrection elixirs, fresh sages, resurrection (and res+) cards, and restoration cards. If I cant make it with all that, in galaxy mode, I'll send a complain to square enix xD But like I mentioned in a previous post, my biggest problem now is the game crashing on me during "ambushed" battles (sometimes). Happened to me on floor 16 yesterday -.- lost about 12-15 lvl on each char, my recipe from santa, and my will to play :(

@qwerty1234524 Randomly, the image freezes but the sound goes on. However it stays like that forever and doesnt "unfreeze". Only option left is turn off the console :(
I noticed it always happened in the wandering dungeon, and always during an "Ambushed". cant be a coincidence :x

@qwerty1234524 Do you play on ps3 (international) too? As for the system getting too hot, I first thought that too, cuz it used to happen after 3-6 hours of gameplay. But then again, i didnt design the wandering dungeon to have 20 floors and no save point ;p What were they thinking!? lol... But last time it happened to me after barely 2 hours of gameplay. If its a bug on international encoding, then they should fix it on an ps3 update or something :( i wanna beat the queen again, but yah...

you know for some reason the Japense Version of Star ocean The interface looks so much better then that of English interface also the Character pics look tons better.
Nice Job on this boss took me a while to kill, Eventually i jused used Reime, Arumat, lylme and Sarah. worked like a charm just used Berzerk with Reimei and Arumat and just spammed Savage sparrow and Dragons Roar. again Nice Video

immer diese behinderte Queen. Außerdem wäre es nicht verkehrt gewesen das Secret Dungeon etwas besser auszuarbeiten. Immer diese schwarzen Leichen oder was das da warn und immer alles per Zufall überlassen. In den Part ist Final Fantasy besser ausgearbeitet.

WARNING: This is fake. Defeating the Ethereal Queen with Lymle in under 10 minutes is not possible. No one can do it. It's suicide. tri-Ace implanted a virus into this game to make certain that the Platinum trophy is never awarded to anyone in this world. Take my advice. Do not attempt this Battle trophy. It isn't possible. Even at level 255, it's still not possible. NO. ONE. CAN. DO IT!

@MasterOfBastards obviously u wernt paying attention. the battle wasnt won by lymle it was won by remi and to get the trophy lymle has to be shown at the end of the battle and it is possible it just takes a hell of a lot of luck to get that last blow with lymle

It is not possible even at Max level 255, synthesize strongest gears, you will still die and if Ethereal Queen's 6 wing, she cannot be defeated due to her Supernova attack at max power. Max power is where it will grab all players from anywhere and mass murder them all. @MasterOfBastards save slots for 2 wings ethereal queen, another for 4 wings, and if you want another for 6 wings, my friend dealt with lymle's trophy for 2 wiings.

@Zeldaboy25 You can't do that! There is 100% no way to predict if she is near death because the US version has the HP display for Ethereal Queen removed and replaced with ?????. The Japanese version allows the HP display for that battle. Furthermore, fighting her with 6 wings is 100% massive suicide. No one beat her due to her killing attacks. Supernova has been widen to max level, making every area where the players gets sucked in and take 50,000 HP per hit up to 2 hits. No survivors.

@qwerty1234524 No. Not if Ethereal Queen is 6 wings. Furthermore, synthesized gears doesn't help. Each upgrades gives you only a maximum of 30+ attributes. Very little for the US version. Being at max level 255 also doesn't help. Defense cannot be increased. Earth Level is not the answer either. What ever the case is, the following trophies are confirmed 100% fake:

@MasterOfBastards i didnt say 6 wings, thats why there's a little thing in games called save slots. my friend had to go through the wandering dungeon more than once of course to get the achievement and yeah it was in galaxy mode. you dont need ethereal queen 6 wings to get the achievement/battle trophy fo lymle (at least in xbox 360)

I got a question. Why is it that the extra dungeons in Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean games feature the same bosses? I remember reading somewhere that they were the same series. I don't believe it to be so. Can anyone give me some feedback? I've looked up all the Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean games and didn't come to a conclusion as to why the bosses are the same. Besides the fact that both titles are made by the same company.

@HolyDeity It is like a signature thing about games.. Another instance of this stuff is also in Finay Fantasy Series.. the series has no connection to each other's storylines whatsoever but many of them features same stuffs like Bahamut, Cactuar, etc etc.

The end game is where it all really begins. The story is fun and all so are the side quests. However the big thing is the Bosses. You have to put so much prep time into Gabriel and Ethereal Queen that you'll prob end the game around 100 hours of Gameplay.

I beat the main story in 23 hours. There is a lot of extra stuff to do, although a lot of it is tedious crap.<
