I love this movie so much :) It has such a great message, sort of reminded me of slum dog millionaire with the [SPOILER] older brothers giving up their lives for their little bros to be happy. Penelope is adorable and quirky I love how she doesn't let herself focus on the past and mope :D

Another great movie by rian johnson (the dude who directed this) is Brick which was an awesome movie, seriously if you guys liked this movie you owe it you yourself to watch his other films so he can make more great movies.

This is by far on of the greatest movies I have ever watched. It hits just about every emotion. You cant help but fall in love with the Characters.

I like how throughout the movie, the time period escapes you! You think you've got it figured out, then some random, modern thing or reference will pop up and you're stumped again! Beautifully written, cast, and scored. I am madly in love with this film! (And I say "film" instead of "movie" not because I am pretentious but rather because this is the first "film" I have seen in a while :)

When I saw this movie I immediately fell in complete love with this melody... ever since the overture in the opening scene when bloom is a child and looks at his crush. the tune haunted me like cryptic speech... SOOOO BEAUTIFFFULLL. I am working on an arrangement for piano... hopefully I'll figure out how to post it on youtube when i'm done. :D

That's what's so great about it. It's a song created to show her character, and I think he captures it just right. At the beginning (Before Bloom) she was alone collecting hobbies and when she meets them her world begins to become more exciting. I could probably explain it better but I just woke up. :P

I think Stephen did it on purpose. He says near the beginning of the movie something along the lines of wanting to die at the peak of a con, and to die the first day he conned Bloom. I also think Bang Bang got away since a truck passed by the car right when it blew up. Plus, Bloom says something about how it's hard to believe she would fall for a car bomb. Neither things matter, since the movie was about Bloom and his desire for an unwritten future where he got his love.

Stephen didn't fake the death, and that whole part of the movie where stephen is missing, is not some sort of con. Stephen tried to play it off as a con so that Bloom would not cry about his death. But Bloom remembered that blood turns brown after thirty minutes and realized that Stephen did actually die.

Hmm Rushed...i would disagree i believe that the ending was near to perfection the way Bang Bang and the older brother died just actually makes you think. Yes it was fairly obvious that Bang Bang didn't die but tbh you can't be entirely sure that the older brother died too. Yes there was real blood but he was Con Artiste!
