Regarding the theory of evolution - perhaps you should trust people that have dedicated their lives on the subject and are regarded as experts. Huge resources there have been invested and still what makes it trustwothy is that - science isn't regarded as the 100% truth and is fallable.

Show me the research regarding this carbon dating gaps. Is it not possible for the bones and skin to be millions of years apart? Who knows. But for now, show me the reports. Evolution is a scientifically proven natural phenomenon. We can SEE it happening on a small scale. Given enough time or a short period of environmental pressure, smaller adaptations accumulate and result in evolved creatures markedly different from their original stock.
Oh, and those tiny steps? The problem with your argument is that when one gap is filled, it leaves two more for people like you to point out. Fill those and then you have four. And so on and so on.

I wish people would just forget about the bible or anything equal to the bible just for a second and trust themselves for a minute, this also means pastors. Look at what is going on outside your house and how they work together, the air, the grass, the trees, the insects, the animals. These are complicated systems in action and they all keep a balance. Look at your children and how they evolve. God works more in codes (like DNA) then what people understand. Look how everthing works together.

I guess we're getting philosophical. I think I know what you mean - everything is created so stable, existable, maybe beautiful etc. But have you ever considered relativity? If you'd read about the string theory, you wouldn't concieve things with terms 'stable, beautiful' etc. It's relative. You can't relate everything to one God force that 'works in mysterious ways that please us' or 'seem stable'. You should be more critical.
