  • Those were the days. when E's were E's <3

  • Comment removed

  • Bad ass for knowing NOW = George Evelyn ... nothing can touch the techno classics!

  • I tripping like fuck on acid to this when i was 8 in 1990

  • loved that booming bassline in the track.

  • Well that sent me tripping down memory lane. Awesome.

  • @JacquesZupp I agree,i remember a good buzz in those days, it's nasty buzz nowadays, don't see too many hugs in the clubs now.

  • @JacquesZupp can of diet coke and a mars bar?? little twats gotta feel sorry for em....

  • Does anyone know the guitar driven tune with the same lyrics cained by DJ Jack D.I.Y and Sasha - in the very early ninetys please?

  • @kimholden

Think your looking for "marathon- movin' (Trans Luna Injection Burn Mix)

    top tune!

    cheers

  • I remeber this tune well. Me mates mum used to work at a record press. she used to bring random records home, usually white labels. We put this on a pair of sl1200 and went mental.lol

Their was also a tune called the Bee, that sounded similar Mad days.

  • @robski123 yeah the bee by the scientist which i think dj hype also had something to do with

  • probably the tune at the time, that set us up for what was called hardcore. Timeless

  • i was in mash when i first heard this blew me awaystill sounds great

  • I'll add to this debate....this tune sounds top without drugs. I just happened to dance a lot better listening to it ON drugs...£20 quid a pop sounds right to me man. Even a half of a Dove would piss all over any 'pill' recently...some of you youngsters on here don't seem to understand that getting wasted had a deeper meaning back then, sense of community, a house nation that only WE were part of at the time

  • @konspiracykid Spot on we were almost a secret society with us few and the masses of unclued twats who listened to take that and jason donovan and their idea of a good night was a couple of largers and trip to cinderellas night club which finished at 2pm, while us lot was still going at 6am.

    get on one matey!!

  • @BruvaBob spot on mate. Even though there were elements of 'smiley culture' in the mainstream, those involved could always feel part of something underground. In manc in 89-92, there were only 2 record shops where you could buy these records, or you could tape off two radio shows twice a week (808 state on Sunset and Stu Allen on Key 103). It was like a secret society. A bit like the Stonecutters, but with better drugs, top music and no dress code. In the beginning there was jack....

  • @konspiracykid Yeah use to go up and pay eastern bloc a visit!! went to the hac end of 90 it was when the had a curfew and we came up from London and didn't get there and in til 12ish and then it closed at 2am!!!

Glad I can say I visited the hacienda though. had some good times up Manchester back in the day.

    And jack had a groove..........

  • @konspiracykid Lovely, description of those amazing times and feelings!! :) x

  • @konspiracykid stop it man im welling up here criminal justice bill and greed ruined it but still glad i was in it would'nt have swapped it for anything money cant buy or start a movement like that

  • @konspiracykid raves and ecstasy still exist you know.

  • @creds123 I know they do...the urge to listen to tunes, dance in a warehouse, or communally, and'ot take drugs is eternal! I've been to some of the recent raves (my nephew has helped organise a couple of free parties in London/West Country), and they were great! there is an element of nostalgia to what I say, but the early days just seemed so much naughtier...and it was just that 'moment' of culture at the time too, it was different. Back then, on the dance floor you had black and white,

  • football lads, students, scallies, gays, straights, hairdressers, stockbrokers, dreds, old northern soulboys, all together. For the late 80s and early 90s...that was something you never heard of: no violence either. You had to wear a shirt and tie to get into most clubs, and there were distinct black and white clubs, or meat markets. Me nephew's raves were'nt like that at all, and the music was just the one genre. Early party scene: Chicago house, detroit techno, italo house, hip-hop, new beat

  • @konspiracykid how patronising

  • @ConallxD Not patronising at all, I was explaining why it was alot different when the scene first emerged

  • @konspiracykid If you still do go raving the pills mow are fucking awseome. The dutch pills are like 160mgs of mdma

  • @creds123 Nice one creds! I couldn't possibly comment on that ;)

  • @konspiracykid You said it KK.

  • yes mate this bassline blew my speakers with Fantasy FM heh - - nearly 150,000 views, Incredible... 150,000 hartdcore members lol :)

  • Never needed pills and powders with tunes like this. The atmosphere in places like The Warehouse, The Gallery and later The Orbit was always enough for me. (Leeds boy here ... just like George and the krew).

  • i canny believe how old this is yet so fresh chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoon

  • @JacquesZupp Some of us kids still kick back with the e and lsd. :]

  • disco biscuits and cally splits!!!!!

  • @Svissr1 And also to you i dont know what youre talking about come to a party in holland man, there's plenty

  • @Svissr1 you and jacques types of comments are so...wasteful. How do you know people don't know what you felt? Can you even remember what you felt since you were on drugs all the time? You sound like a bunch of grumpy old men...just enjoy the music!

  • @vibe333 ...no just probbably stating that if you where around during these times you would consider times like now absolute shit fella!..peace out!..an yes the drugs where PROPER drugs back then....ha ha...not like the crap they call em today!..where you need 20 tabs to make you feel like what 1 would back then lol

  • @Svissr1 i have mr EASE on my FB.........he made this bless him and his consortium this is proper acid...i knew even back then that this music, era, atmosphere will never ever be repeated..the youngsters bless them they try but the same atmosphere will never be repeated no matter how they try...peace out my firnd ;) x

  • @Svissr1 Dude I wish I knew. ahhah. Still easy to find mdma pills though. ;]

  • @Svissr1 heard of it, wish i could have been there... XD

  • @Svissr1 - Back before everyone thought love is sex-love. It was brotherly love back then - never forget those times.

  • @Svissr1

Trust me man, kids still like MDMA.

  • @Svissr1 You just fucked your body much more than us.

  • @Matti126 you aint gotta clue m8 sorry.

  • eyes rolling! Your mates would be shouting, "Are you still in the toilet"? and you would have been happy sitting in there all night, until a good tune came on and you'd somehow get yourself back to the dancefloor!!!!! Oh for a time machine! Happy, beautiful, (hazy) day's!!!!!!!!!

  • Yep, I remember that sort of haze, mate...;/

  • To JaquesZupp, Fuck me, stupid grin on my face. MBS/white Lightening trips and the good old day's, when you'd pay £20 for a disco biscuit or original dove and be banana's for at least a day. (Your mates telling you not to go to the toilet, once you'd come up, otherwise you'd "S**T" your E out! (Don't know where it came from) The funniest thing was, cause you were sledgin and chewin the inside of your cheeks off, In some distant place, you kind of believed them!! (jaw "shivering" and

    penis!!!!

  • Shut up fuck face. im not gonna play your shit mind games. With my first comment i was merely trying to point out that this song is not house music, which is what i said. it is classed under another genre. btw, fuck you grako76

  • hahaha, what a cock

  • I think both of you are stupid. Jaggis1234 has the vocabulary of a sailor and grako76 is a pretentious cunt.

Both of you are ... just really, really terrible.

  • you cant get anymore pretentious than stickin you nose in and addin your 2 peneth worth in to something that doesn`t concern you. crawl back under the rock you came from you pleb

  • Hahaha. Oh God, you're so fucking thick.

It's okay, though. I mean, you can't even capitalize. I'm sure you didn't make it through grade six.

    Don't be so proud.

  • Could've fooled me, according to your profile. And please tell me that you're not one of those pretend-Irish ones.

Oliver Cromwell, Margaret Thatcher, Prince Harry, and anyone who appears on Jeremy Kyle. Seriously, Britain has a history.

  • pretend irish? what the fuck are you on with fool? and im not british either, SCOTLAND all the way pal!!!

  • well done chad. In true arrogant American stye you've named a handfull of people and generalised a nation. Thats so pathetic - you named 3 famous people to judge England. just remember who colonised you. so if i say: 'Michael Jackson, George Bush and 50 Cent' does that mean americans are all brain-dead black paedophiles? stop having a go a everyone and don't comment if its not relevant. you have littered this page by ranting at everyone.

  • You realize that was a response to generalization of Americans, correct? It was intended to be facetious.

Jesus, these comments are older than the internet.
