They do not run as Hikari between Okayama and Hakata; Shin-kurashiki is the very next stop of Okayama.
気が付けば随分と数を減らしてしまいましたね。先日新幹線を利用したときも、「こだま」の運用は殆ど700系に置き換わってしまっていました。時代の流れとか、車両の寿命が酷使される車両ゆえに短い新幹線とはいえ、なんだか寂しいものです。「のぞみ」が朝晩の1往復しかなかったころに、静岡駅に朝早く撮影に行ったのが懐かしいですね。
