I own a 2006 Cool Vanilla 5.7 Hemi that I paid $15,000 for last Sept. I love everything about the car except for the lack of thigh support in the front seats, made even worse by the slippery leather. The handling is excellent and it is a very quick lane changer for its size and weight.
I have driven the 2011 car and it is much much better in every way than mine, but I'll wait for the SRT8 6.4 with the 8 speed trans and paddle shifters and trade for it.
@dieseldog00 i love everything about the new 2011 300 EXCEPT the front lights... just takes away from the 300C attitude and presence....maybe if an aftermarket designer makes the twin halo lights for the new one then ill be interessted
Okay, I think this is reason for the Tortoise-shell piece on the steering wheel of the 300's. The heritage edition, especially, takes this look from the early Chrysler 300 models (back in the 50's and 60's. If you look at their steering wheels, they are the same way, only bigger. It was a style back then, and some of the early Lincoln's had the same type steering wheel.
But then, maybe it's some commie plot to overthrow the Vatican?
did you guys ever figure out why the handles and steering wheel is like that, cus i just purchased a heritage but dont understand what there for. I did research and it said its a Smoke Translucent finish but i dont get it?
This car is a copy of a Rolls Royce Phantom. Sorry to say that by copying the RR phantom an ordinary American junk can't become a half million dollar car. Stop stealing car desing bankrupt GM. British Rules!
Does anyone know how many of the 2006's with the Heritage pkg. were produced in red??? In '06 they said they were "very limited" production, but I have never heard a number put to what is considered "very limited".
I just bought an '06 Inferno red Heritage Edition yesterday and love it! I'm lucky to have that carbon fiber looking door and steering wheel molding instead of the neon green crap. Only 36,000 miles on it and plenty more to come from this happy new owner!
40,000 is too much for that car, especially with fake wood. I'd much rather buy a used Mercedes or Infiniti for that price than drive one of those brand new at 40 grand.
who cares what a BC auto critic says about our cars.

You that woody stuff is questionable.. Throw some 20's on it to make up for it...

well that's great for you... this car is much nicer... and when your driving, who sees the inside?
turbohemic 3 years ago
The 2006 version is MUCH better- the door handles and wheel have smoke colored sections instead of the bizarre blue. Also has an SRT spoiler.

those fake wood panels look ghastly on video at least...
