What the hell is "Atash dancers" from George Washington University doing? Is that supposed to be Persian dancing? It looks more like rehab gymnastics! They're not even wearing foklore clothes - it just looks weird and out of place! This whole parade is out of place, with Islam-bashing fringe groups like Derafsh and mostly a lot of people just walking amidst a chaotic atmoshphere waving flags! The only good thing were the Armenian dance group! Come on - get your act together or just quit!

YOURE OBVIOUSLY NOT FROM THE NEW YORK CITY AREA !!!!! if u were u would know that immigrant-founded usa's biggest immigrant-founded city [ new york city ] has parades+festivals every year- from spring thru fall - for nationalities all around this planet = scotland,france,germany,poland,pakistan,india,greece,china,puerto rico,turkey,ireland,italy,brasil,mexico,and the persians,and others.
Yea but you know what mr. freedom of speech none of those countries are trying to destroy this country. If you feel the need to defend these people then get out and go live with them we don't need you!
what a waste of time. first =pleas be respectful to all the former great civilizations of this planet [like the old persian empire ]. second= in usa's history ,lots of nations have hoped to destroy/conquer it = england,germany,austria/hungary,italy,japan,russia,cuba,korea,china,viet nam,iraq. add to that all the countries that have hated the usa [which was practically the whole world when george bush was president].if u forbade ALL these ethnic festvals/parades--thered be none at all.

درسته و لی پرچم شیر و خورشید پرچم ایران است و نه پرچم حکومت پادشاهی.. بنابراین خیلی ها مانند خود من این پرچم را پرچم ملی ایران می دانند.
