the only problem i have with it is that you don't play a power chord during the main riff.  after the pinch harmonic there is some alternate strumming and then you play one note. being the A# on the second string when it should be a power chord with your index and ring on the third and fifth frets on the 2nd and 3rd string. same with the next A# and C, they should be power chords. but other than that you nailed it man. good job bro.

it's called a pinch harmonic. It's really hard to explain in written words, search it here and watch the video. They are easier to do on the thinner strings, I find the bass strings harder to do a pinchie on. Oh and they are heard better if you have humbuckers in the bridge positon. Even though I've done it with a single coil. But yeah, it's a pinch harmonic.

some ppl do it by hitting the string with their thumb ever so slightly after they pick it so set the harmonic off .. you can find billions of vids about how to do it on the web

hey, the harmonic must be on the 2nd fret of the 6th string, not the 3rd. try to hit the harmonic farther towards the bridge...

Often it doesnt make a difference unless you are doing the harmonics on a lower string because of the higher frequencies. On the top 3 strings, basically each string has it's own sounding harmonic, it really makes no difference where you place your fingers imo.
