This song reminds me of wen i got a call fire in a building.. we were told there is nobody in there... but there were kids in there... me and my partner got our gear and ran into the building manage to get 4 of them out... but we could not get to the last kid :( we could hear her scream while the fire got closer to her... that was the worst time in my life... not being able to save someone :(
you know we get dressed in our gear and we save lives but sometimes people dont understand that it is a hard job for us to do but we dont show people because they see us as hero's for what we do but stay safe all my brother fire fighters

I am so proud to be a volunteer fire fighter in New Zealand, I am glad my parents are proud and I know as a firefighter we don't see thongs as dangerous because we have the trust in our crews to all come out together as we went in. When i joined the fire services i asked her permission and explained that it can be dangerous and people can get hurt doin what we do, but we do it to help our community and people in trouble. What an amazing song! It is so awesome that when God puts something like this into a person's heart that they listen to it, and look what has become because you did. this is one of those videos/songs that makes you realize how terrifying our job can actually be. this is a great song. most of us realize that that next alarm we make whether its paid or volunteer may be our last run. all my brothers and sisters be safe out there.

what inspired you to write this song?? its amazing. being a firefighter/EMT and dating a deputy for the past 3 years, i cherish life and i have realized how short it really is. we lost firefighter/deputy jason e. mooney 10-19-07 and its just as hard today as it was that night. but we just keep going and praying. keep up with your music, youre very talented. great video i have to agree with you and alot of people, we dont get nough credit im a firefighter in thbuffalo region and if people saw how it really is inside, then they'd maybe understand. through the fire and flames, not matter what we carry on.

Amazing song and video. I've been a firefighter for 5 years now, and three different departments. I have been through some rough times, losing brothers and sisters on the job.
