  • P0:00tomen!

  • @crapadotol "Poootomen?" THE FIGHT OF POOOTOMAAAAAAAN!!!!

  • niiice

  • The Protomen are the incarnation of Epicness!

  • I Listened to this song all day , Its so deep . Epicness incarnate ^^

  • I want this to be in the soundtrack if there should ever be a dark and gritty Megaman game; or better yet, a Protoman prequel.

  • @ThePaulnessable The Zero series is actually pretty bleak, although unfortunately it is lacking in the rock opera department.

  • Dr. Light reminds me of Karl Marx. Seeing such poverty and exploitation of a struggling working class and their potential for revolution. However, though Marx saw the negative effects of industrialization and mechanization in a for-profit system, he would have agreed with the potential of technological advancement making work easier and relieving the working class of dehumanizing working conditions. His father's battle? Potentially Hegel's dialectic being applied to history? I'm not sure...

  • @Meaendyou

I dunno this always came off as Anti-communist to, Willy uses money to advance his plans but by the end of the album it seems very much like a communist dystopia. He seems to be trying to lessen death in the world not lessen work.

  • @Americanbadashh Well, Wily's an authoritarian dictator and technocrat; he's as much a fascist as a communist, and not really either. The mad scientist with robotic minions is pretty far outside of a historical context.

Light, on the other hand, is pretty clearly a technological utopian thinker, as he wants to replace human labor with machines. Which means his purpose is parallel to utopian communism, but all utopian thought centered on labor ends up pretty parallel.

  • @WanderedIn no a Utopian thoughts in general end up the same. the Utopian approach to capitalism is no exception. utopias do not exist and we should never persuade them we should just enjoy the day and work to make the day after an even better day for yourselves and even more so for our friends and family. for it within our genes that we do not have a comprehensive understanding of a society bigger as 150 humans.

  • @weswes666 Well, that's pessimistic of you. You don't think we can overcome genetic biases? A few hundred years ago, modern developed nations would have been an unthinkable paradise. We can make progress, I think.

Also, the point I was making is that the focus of his utopian thought was labor, similar to the thought processes of Marx. Utopian thought can be based on many foundations; an anarchist utopia is expected to differ from a communist utopia.

  • I can't get this song out of my brain.

  • That's a Paddlin...

  • The first half of this album is such a beautiful, emotive piece. It delivers a story through music so well.

The second half is too dependent on instrumental sections and liner notes.

If only they had let it stand on its own instead of trying to shoehorn it into the megaman mythos, this brilliant album could be a true classic instead of fancy fanfic.

  • @youmayfindithere

Wait by first half do you mean act 1 or the first half of act 2. Just checking.

  • @JotunnTheImp I meant the first half of Act II.

  • I can't believe the first time I saw them was at a high school.

  • Powerful

  • this song always reminds me of a warforged paladin. ill never forget gox 6-123 the saviour of opressed warforge

  • man, that last verse is kick ass

  • Two people follow Wily. :3

  • @XZeeChan Dude, his voice....

  • amazing

  • 2 people should know that my right nut is a little lower than my left.

  • 2 people are not good doctors :P

  • so the service were robots were invented to save lives?

  • @lyzedpara No, they were invented to do the tasks that were risky and dangerous for people.

  • My name is thomas :o

  • @Wanghealer lololol tom ya troll:P its ed

  • pfft, this is crap, i'm gonna go and listen to justin bieber, he's got talent

  • @MrDannys20

    Ohho, you funny guy.

  • @MrDannys20 hahahaha

  • I found the Protomen while watching Stu make pudding at four in the morning. I listen to both albums practically every day. Let's hope we get the next installment soon.

  • @HerfDerf

    Same here, motherfucking chocolate pudding.

  • @ryman588 I think you mis-read what I wrote.. I think this is EXCELLENT music.

  • When I first heard The Protomen, I wasn't sure what I thought. I was a little disappointed. But, after listening to their albums a few times, I've completely changed my position.

Good music, the more you listen, the better it gets. Bad or mediocre music, the more you listen, the worse it gets. Protomen certainly falls into the first category.

  • I really like this band now...

THANKS for my brother telling me about this band... :)

  • I like this its cool.

  • this is strange music but it's interesting also

  • @newyorkers11 its not strange. its the type of music that enrio morricone wrote for the 60's western movies

  • God I love this song. Yeah I've read their notes too but I could just see Light pacing the room, worried about the future.

When he gets to the "What will I become" he's staring at a picture of his father when he was young, then to a photo of his love, finally a photo of Wily and him.

Wily's reflection shows up in the photo pane, "You are a fool" and that conversation. The last part he's staring at a city hoping they see him as a hero and not a fool.

    Someone make a play please!

  • Light, pacing in his workshop. Wily standing behind him, cigarette hanging from his lips; shaking his head slowly at his friends naivety. (I'm aware there are liner notes, but that's how I see it in my head <.<)

  • The Good Doctor? HOLY SHIT DOCTOR ROBOTNIK

  • A song I actually can't get enough of. The smooth, atmospheric music and the breath taking voices of all three singers isn't enough: I just love what this band made with a story this simple: Dr. Light builds robots, Dr. Wily steals them to conquer the world, Dr. Light builds Mega Man to destroy them all and save the day. Just fantastic. I wish I could go on one of their concerts...

  • Question!

When they perform live, is it just the songs or are there also spoken-word parts?

  • @HeroOfHyla It varies! It generally depends on how much time they have for the set, from what I've seen.

  • Dr Wily's voice when he comes in is the sexiest thing I have ever heard.

  • Albert Wily built a robot just to dislike this video twice.

  • @PrayerCoach

    *cough*SPAMMER*cough*

  • I listened to the songand i liked it. I listend once more and read the lyrics, and I shivered! This is awesome!

  • Something tells me Light could predict the abuse potential of his inventions, but just didn't worry too much about it. The "you underestimate the character of a man" part hints he just never predicted people would actually let it happen.

  • Around 5:19, it seems that Lights singer disappears and is taken over by Wily's singer. Before I looked at the liner notes, I thought that Wily had something happen to his father that caused him to take up robotics

I love the "We will build cities in a day! (Man would cower at the sight)" sequence.

  • @omegathunderstorm No, that's still Light's singer. Panther has some crazy vocal range. He sang everything in Act I, and sang for both Light and Joe in Act II.

  • I absolutely love the duet between Light and Wily. Both with their own visions, their own plans for the future. Both absolutely right, when you think about it.

  • Listening to this song and 'Father of Death' the other day I started thinking about Oppenheimer and his work in theoretical physics. It struck me how similar he seemed to the character of Doctor Light portrayed in the albums. Often described as the "Father of the atomic bomb (Death)" and immortalized by his translation of the line "I am become death". Like Light he helped to create something of fantastic potential for mankind only to see it twisted into a weapon of unparalleled power and fear.

  • @Jameskind83 So is Teller Dr. Wily?

  • @Jameskind83 Oppenheimer was crazy as shit. He attempted to kill several of his former tutors, including trying to poison one with an apple, and when that didn't work he flat out jumped him. Oppenheimer is much more of a Wily... (the guy had some seeerrrriouss issues). So did Thomas Edison, true story bro. Google that shit.

  • @Jameskind83 Einstein had a similar response when he found out what they were applying some of his theories to.

  • too bad they dont got a bigger fan base

  • 5:18

Words cannot describe how freaking awesome this whole album is

  • This album man, this fucking album.

  • People like you who upload this music are the reason I ever find out about it, the reason I get to find out about this album, the reason I'm going to buy it, and the reason the band will get the money they deserve.

  • goosebumps..

  • Fucking epic.

  • All Thomas Light wanted to do was create a world where people wouldn't have to work their lives away, without being able to raise a family, without seeing their sons and daughters, their loved ones and friends.

Its a shame that one man, one Albert Wily, used that dream as a means to control anything and everything around him, and accuse Light of destroying lives.

Thomas, you are both a hero, and a villain , of your world. I am so sorry.

  • For this I don't need explanation at all. I just find 2 motherfuckers that's all.

  • Oh, that's cool. This is just only everything I've ever wanted in music.

  • Listening to this song, and looking at the album-cover, one thought keeps crossing my mind...

    Megaman + Watchmen

  • He's caused more wars over more years then any other video game villain in history. His reach could be felt era's later.

Dr. Light confirmed for most evil villain ever.

  • @ZKoftherebellion I loved listening to the Protomen after reading that.

  • I like to listen to the two albums backwards, skipping the intermission.

So this is the first song, and one of my favorites.

  • @LaRueDeeko Aw, but I like Intermission. Its so... peaceful... it has nothing to do with the story, but its so... damn... peaceful...

  • @Shadowelecman

True....but if you start this as the first song....it doesn't make sense to have an intermission before it.

  • @LaRueDeeko Well, the albums are based on a rock opera in acts, which is like a play, so Intermission would be... the intermission. So Act III will probably have an intermission type track as well. Just guessing, of course.

  • slight error in the lyrics (important one too) 'Cast down shining in the sun' should be 'Cold steel shining in the sun'

  • They couldn't even imagine how their ideals would shape the course of humanity's future. So they worked onward towards their hopes and dreams for the good of mankind.

  • feels kinda Broadway-ish to me!

I mean it as a BIG compliment.

I don't know anything about the games, but the characters are coming alive through these songs, and the story is pretty intriguing, from what I've read on Wiki.

wonder if I can get the album here.

  • Love the song but it's not really a video is it?

  • I stayed off listening to the Protomen for years. And now...this is so far beyond awesome that it blew my mind when I first listened. Speaking as a long-time player of the games, I love how they gave real personalities and even, to one degree or another, motivations for the various characters.

In short, this group is awesomeness incarnate and my ears eagerly await more from them.

  • Holy.

    Mother.

    Fucking.

    Shit. Really good.

  • God this song is beautiful!!!!!

  • Wily is my hero.

  • @Midnightblue32

    Um, ok...

Imma have to kill u then.

    Wif mah supah fighting robot.

    XDDD

  • Its just so amazing...i've grown up playing the megaman games, all the way from nintendo up. i always saw it as a game that i would do anything to play, the coolest fucking shit ever. Its just so amazing to see this band and listen to them and how they are so passionate about the story. it gives me a whole new way of looking at the game, a more serious way you know? Huge breakthrough for me... 5 stars.

  • I like this music. :)

  • christ albert has a voice i'd go gay for. this should not be happening.

  • I never would have thought they could make a game like megaman into something this amazing.

  • @psychotichealth11 troll failure

  • I believe the final few lines are actually; "We will stand above the city; Rising high above the streets; From tops of buildings we will look down; At all the lives beneath our feet; We will raise our hands above us; Cold steel shining in the sun; With these hands that will not bleed; My father's battle will be won."

  • @Abandon33 I always thought it was "at all that lies beneath our feet; and we will raise our hands above us; cast iron shining in the sun"

Now I'm not sure which is right. Oh, well. Either works fine.

  • @zmelchert I always thought it was cold steel shining in the sun.

  • @Kamahin It actually IS "cold steel shining in the sun". It's what it says in the booklet, and if that's wrong, then I don't know what to believe anymore.

  • plasma powerrrrrr

  • We will build heroes

  • Protomen NEED a rock opera to happen...

  • @Judothrow5 But then again, they'll will be accused of "selling-out". What they need to do is to keep it that way, and let us fans spread of word.

  • @IvanTheMouse See, the whole selling out thing comes as a catch 22, cause if what little of us fans there are make them big enough well they'll be accused of it anyway.

  • @Judothrow5

They could easily take back Broadway. ¡Viva la revolución de la Protomen!

  • Thats saying too much.

    (Picture the year 5000)

"Of the most celebrated songs that have ever come into the wide history of mankind were Mozart's Requiem In D Minor and The Protomen - Act II: The Good Doctor"

    I can't see it.

  • @TheCritRocket You're right, I can't see it either. The Requiem in D Minor can't hold up to the truly great stuff.

  • @isildur241

    Cool Troll Bro

  • @isildur241 lol

Anyways, as much as I love these songs, I concur with TheCritRocket. Maybe if video games become the next big thing since television, more people learn about megaman, and these songs resurface, then, yeah, it's possible. I'd like it, I don't see it happening, though.

  • oh god this is wonderful

I am going to go spend money on these people right now. RIGHT NOW.

  • @ShadowArchmagi

    >see thread on /b/ (not /v/, not sure why)

    >see "EVERYTHING BY THE PROTOMEN"

    >Get intrested, check it out

    >Buy both albums.

    >become fanboy

  • @TheCritRocket

    >implying this is 4chan

  • Iss it me? Or is Wily chillingly awesome?

  • Wily is badass.

  • Thank you UntrustworthRainbow for uploading this song, because of you I learned about this great band/album and have recently purchased this CD, the songs on it are some of the best I have ever heard in my life and I totally recommend it to people who like good music and/or Megaman.

  • You know come to think about it the Protomen are like a light in the dismal abyss of today's music industry. I guess it was true when they said there will be light

  • I think you'll see a lot more light if you take off your fucking sun glasses.

  • @Exodiaobliteratebwaa they lit up the night is what your saying

  • @jumblejimble

    > FUCK ASS AWESOME PUN

    > MY FUCKING FACE

    :D

  • @Exodiaobliteratebwaa mainstream music is a piece of shit to listen to

  • @Exodiaobliteratebwaa

    music does not suck now.

  • @crazyduplicate

Then how do you explain how talentless hacks like every pop singer out there get fame and fortune for hocking souless horrible music and completely overshadows great bands that never get a break. Just look at the Protomen, they're excellent but just ask around and you'll find that outside of the internet there's not many people that'll know of their existance. Of the bands to come out in the last decade these guys are the only ones that have true heart and soul in their music.

  • @Exodiaobliteratebwaa Stupid people enjoy stupid music. That's how it's explained. Really that hard to figure out?

  • @Exodiaobliteratebwaa That's not because music sucks today, which is only true if you have huge fucking blinders in front of your eyeballs, it's because corporations decide what gets played on the radios. And the answer is safe boring music that appeals to the demographics that will get them the most money: casual listeners who will buy anything (which is why music on the radio is safe to appeal to everybody) or tween/teen females

  • @EMike07 Damn straight! I actually would've put that in last time but I ran out of room. That is the reason why the music industry is so bad today. last time I wasn't actually saying that that's the reason why it's terrible I was saying that most music made today is awful and it overshadows great music. I wouldn't call them a nerd rock ballad, if it was it would be about the games 8 new robots etc. but these guys have made an rock opera that's original from the games and is reminescent of 1984

  • Yep, these songs' origin isn't important, but their merit. Dramatic+thoughtful. To any commoner, the Protomen might as well be singing about some obscure Indian legend or whatnot. Whatever the actual origin, it deserves attention+love, even if it can be said it started from nerdraging about vidya series.Besides, what "deserves to be main media" has always changed throughout the years. Remember how back then everyone thought Tron doesnt deserve 2 be a hallmark movie 4largely artificial visuals?

  • @Exodiaobliteratebwaa Unsurprisingly obscure nerd rock ballads based on 1980 video games, no matter how good they are, don't fall into either of those categories

  • @Exodiaobliteratebwaa Some of them have nice tits. and sex sells.

  • they should make a film adaptation of the Protomen's rock operas!

  • Get the order of wikipedia, I'm sure it has the song listing.

I agree though, they're only absolutely brilliant when listened in their proper order.

I just love Wilys contributions hehe

  • I've started getting into the Protomen, and i gotta say, all their songs are pretty confusing when not listened to in the right order (which i don't know.) Still, these songs sound amazing and the lyrics are very deep and can easily send a shiver down your spine.

  • TVTropes's Protomen article has a order list. It's all the sequential order.

  • Well, that won't be a problem when you buy their awesome CD's

    >:D

But seriously, the Protomen are the greatest!

(also, regarding the uploader's comment space: the other thing to consider is (and this might just be me), is that I am often at work and don't have my CD's with me, so its nice to be able to put on the Protomen in the background while I am working :D

  • Dude, this song band is amazing...

    *single tear*

  • Just listened to the whole album, absolutely amazing!!! I personally thing they have more then earned a Grammy for this album.

  • Think*

  • seriously..screw the grammy....the protomen should have control the entire industry....and you shouldnt be allowed to make music unless they approve..get rid of this terrible plague thats been sweeping over us for the past 16 years...they have restored some hope

  • to be perfectly honest yes most men would cower or get bored. but then there are a few who would rise to such hieghts and feel it there duty to mankind to protect it and make sure all was safe and happy. the goal would be to play out a role fate had written for the one to guide the all from a detached standpoint for in any kind of greatness there will most definatly be lonliness

  • Yes, but sadly those men go down two different paths. One way is the simple way of being surpassed and overthrown. The other way is that they will start to become corrupt. They from there also have two more paths. They will either stay until they are surpassed again by someone else, or they will stay there for a long time. Eventually, in that position, they do something that makes them soon snap out of their trance of corruption. They ten condemn themselves out of there own sadness and guilt.

  • Oh and for the record, his reference to the universe is a lot like my reference to "There are as many worlds we stand on as there are eyes in all living things." Your world is defined by your perspective. Your world, your life, and your paths are yours to do with what you please.

  • You apologize for littering the place up, and I appreciate that. Mirothonomy, however, HAS done so for quite a while. Read ALL of his comments.

  • Interesting debate. I can see your point Mirithonomy, and I agree with it. My friend recommended this band to me, and I must say: not only is the idea behind it amazing, the sounds and voices are absolutely spell-binding. I can't stop listening! XD

  • How many times do you have to comment Mirothonomy? Are you trying to show off or something, I mean you keep coming back to this one video and posting elaborate essays about your power as though people were actually listening to anything you say!

Oh, and Dojack, I absolutely agree, his voice is incredibly soulful. You can feel it in the music, it's amazing.

  • I find swim's post fairly interesting. To which, I must ask where the displeasure of knowing a person's mind is elaborate pains you so much you simply want them to stop comes from. I frankly, am relieved at seeing things like that once in a while. Has anyone ever thought about just how downhill the human mind is diving each generation? A generation gap usually happens every decade, but this last decade you could likely measure three. The world's measure of intelligence went from a decent

  • moderation to simply swimming with the flock or be shot from the sky. Thinking outside of the box, and taking a look at life from a view unshielded by the veils of society is essentially outlawed. When a person is taught that they should shoot one down for expressing their views, my point is proven precisely. You also asked why he posts when you don't read. Firstly, if you don't read then your opinion does not matter. Secondly, if you did then you contradict your own point.

  • @NanieYasha

It's not that I don't read them, because I do, its just that the manner in which he presents these "ideas" is self-inflating and unnecessarily verbose. The most effective way to convey ideas is through the simple method of providing an assertion, then evidence and commentary, while he and you seem to consider yourselves better than everyone as though it were fact.

  • Case in point, you assume I don't read his comments, and state on a flawed assumption that my opinions don't matter, which goes against your own assertion that it is wrong to shoot a person down for expressing their opinions.

  • Even if there are millions of men who would ignore, hate, or overlook the brilliance that glimmers in the back of the mind, there are probably one in a thousand who really, truly understand. It may not make sense to you, but appealing to the masses with his comments is not his goal. Call it a mass broadcast that only a few will hear. His message is for the few who can understand.

  • I do not intend on telling you what you should or should not do or say. But I also find it strange that you say that on the thread below a song by The Protomen, who's entire first rock opera debut was about the common man failing to stand for themselves out of fear. To be honest, I only glimpsed at what he posted, but it seemed very well thought out. Your reply has inspired me to read it actually. Lengthly or not, the message is clear.

  • Quoting your reply, "I mean you keep coming back to this one video and posting elaborate essays about your power as though people were actually listening to anything you say" makes me wonder if you have even heard the band's songs at all. The very statement proves the message of the band. Call if a hunch, but this band is doing more than putting on an awesome play.

  • I believe the band has taken notice that society is plunging down a dark corner, and the innocents are the ones living the nightmare. Not just because of how the economy is going, but have you taken notice of just how each generation is becoming less moral? More spineless and how they swim with the river to avoid being alone? Better yet, has anyone wondered about why they do it? Whether it be fear of solitude or oppression, man must learn to stand for itself instead of hoping for heroes.

  • Frankly, the day the world needs heroes is a sad day, because everyone can clearly see what is right and wrong. If everyone just stood without question for what they believe is right, facing whatever they must to do it, there would be far less corruption in the world. Drug cartels, murders, rapes, and countless things would virtually disappear because the ones in fear would be those with evil intent.

Sorry, the band makes me think a lot so I posted a bunch. ^.~ Sorry for littering the place up.

  • These longwinded verbose responses you all keep posting sound a lot less like legitimate arguments and more like excuses to hear yourself talk. Call me crazy, but your point was made a long time ago, but rather than simply letting it be, you continue to analyze a song about Megaman, drawing parallels through convoluted and flawed logic, then proceeding to make those same points repeatedly.

  • It's called politics, on the local level or even globally, so when I see people talking like you all, I think its a good idea to take them down a peg, lest they escalate their own circular arguments into elitism, which is where most evil in the world comes from. Call me crazy, but personally, I think its far better to enjoy oneself than lament the fictional fall of mankind with obtuse vernacular, but whatever floats your boat man.

  • Also, I do like the band musically, but I still think its a good idea to keep in mind that this is about Megaman!

  • Not trying to lament it, trying to discuss the philosophies behind it. I like a good philosophical debate.

  • Explain aforesaid flaws.

  • I love Thomas's voice...I want that voice to narrate my life.

  • I would like to thank the host of this vid for allowing these discussions to continue. Not everyone is so tolerant of debate.

  • Oh, haha. No problem, have at it!

  • Thank you very much.

  • As long as i control all things in my universe I care not for anything else, because that is all there is to me. If I do not become greater than man I at least want to create or help create something that is. I am not in complete control of myself and due to medical conditions I might never be. I am more controlled than most, which I suppose doesn't say much but it is what it is. I am much more aware of what is and isn't than you may think.

  • I love how strife tries to make a complimentary comment about finding a good band, while Mirithonomy and Quarell keep up this existential argument, seemingly ignorant of the merits of the music itself.

  • world and universe we live in? Do you not realize that physically we are the most miniscule and insignificant thing in all of existence? Why do people seek enlightenment? Is it becuase they want power, or absolution? The answer is absolution. There is no greater power than absolution, and every single religion ever born screams that at every man ever to take flesh upon this earth.

  • The power I would seek is that that will ascend man to the throne of all things. To seize control of every element, every atom, so that we may create things of infinite wonder. To fight all things until our domination of them is so complete that we have absolutely no limit as to what we can do. Men can make a large impact that will last for ages, but what I seek is not for myself but all worthy men.

  • I am not disclaiming the power of the spirit for without it man cannot be inventive, ambitious, or any other great defining characteristic. The absolution (or in simpler terms search for reconciliation for our wrong doings) of men is not a bad cause but we should not allow it to stand in the way of becoming great. Man is man and his fate lies with himself. Whatever we do it is to our credit not some "divine" authority. I am a Deist (just to clarify my standing point).

  • I reject the answer just because. I can think of no logical reason as to why we are incapable of having power that is, at current, beyond our imagination. I have many positive relationships, I am not amoral for I fully support having rules and high standards to live by, I also understand that at current we are simply a speck among the vast universe. I am not ignoring the world around me. It is simply that we are capable of having and doing so much more. Think of when we learned how to fly...

  • I want you both to try to prove to me beyond the shadow of a doubt that anything exists beyond the self. if you can manage to even comprehend the question you will know that you cannot. but further more, you will know that you cannot disprove it in the same method. here in lies the dilemma; Occam's Razor; Which is more likely, the universe existing or the universe not existing? does it encompass everything or does it exist only withing the senses?

  • only after you do that can you even to begin to attempt to do what every living man before you has failed at. becoming more that a man. after death we dont know for certain what happens to the self, so i will leave that out. you talk about controlling the elements? you talk about dominating all of existence? first can you even control yourself? are you in full command of your existence? probably not.

    In Finishing

    I am Adversity.

Adversity is the strainer that refuses to pass the ill equipped.

  • I comprehend that question, and I dissagree completely with that view. Sure u can't technically disprove it..but that doesn't make it a valid point of argument. If someone did believe it..what wud be the point of arguing about it anyway, since there is noone else real to actually argue with. I believ thoughts like that are ultimately just delusions of grandure on a certain level. There's just no point..and its a very self-centered view on the universe

  • In the end we will all do what we please. Some of us will help others, some of us will hurt others. We can only hope that things come out well for us in the end. Everything we do in life is directed by self desire. However that desire can be very broad the will to help others might be to satisfy a personal desire, but that doesn't make it bad.

  • Some people are simply bad and they don't care what happens to those around them. They'll do anything for self profit and continue on this path as long as they go unpunished. But, these are people are not the majority. True, not everyone will rise to fight for just and right, most won't. The thing is that those people are not going out of their way to do bad either. They simply leave things up to those who have the determination it takes to change things.

  • Good or bad they follow the man who turns the wheels. Sadly this is because they don't understand how the wheels work. The way our modern society runs makes it so that people are told what to believed. They are not asked to think about it they are simply told to obey. This is one of the reasons there are so many things that are blatantly wrong but no one will fix them. I recommend that when you are told a rule question it. If it has a good reason it is a good rule. If it doesn't it is bad.

  • We become strong good societies of good men by questioning the reason of all things and never giving an inch while fighting for what we believe in. Thomas Light fulfilled his dream of making the robots but he did not protect the people from the ideas of Wiley until it was too late. When we see evil we must strike it down. Should we allow it to fester it grows into a monster that consumes many men before it can be stopped. If Tom had been firm Wiley would never have had a chance to dominate man.

  • Society is easily minipulated. We all know that. Those who know that usually use that information to their advantage. It is true that men can bend and that men can break, but what happens when they are all broken? When you climb to the top of the world, you will see that when you fall, you will fall from a height that most men will never reach, and you wonder if the knowledge and power was worth the uphill climb. It is hard to say, but, no.. because you would be left to deal with yourself.
