Justified is a great show, not sure how you can condemn it because of 1.5 sec of dialog that had no future relevance in later on. The hair trigger response about the Patriot movement is honestly giving a worse opinion of it than the show itself. The Patriot Movement was mentioned only once by name in the pilot of Justified. It was mentioned that Boyd Crowder got involved after his participation in Desert Storm. Boyd explains that none of his lackeys are actually involved, and that he only recruits them as dumb muscle. Whether Boyd actually follows the movement or just uses it as an excuse to commit crimes was not made clear.

You'd think people would be more pissed off about the southern stereotypes seen this whole season. Guess not.

I have to disagree. I don't think they tried to make it political. It could just be that that's what the writers chose to make as a pilot to show the change in Crowder in the next episode. I don't feel it's meant to associate being a patriot with white supremacy, but that's just my two cents. I still think it's an awesome show and I'll continue to watch it.
