I prefer quality over quantity I choose the samsung due to screen size and quality. I know atrix has a bigger battery and it's more efficient but I like my videos nice and bright with rich detail.. So different need tbh both nice phones tho

@bashir6789 yeah thats why i bought a better 1900miliamp battery from amazon that was much cooler cost me £4.00 and you can keep the same backcover on aswell. so its something you can remedy quite easily other than that what else... i have the same battery.. atrix was just thier experiement that didnt go as well as they thought now they are on the bionic...

Samsung Galaxy S2 can waste battery faster than ATRIX But ATRIX is slower just like the xoom and buggy.I may choose ATRIX because it is cheaper.Samsung galaxy s 2 waste my money if I buy it.

1) Android Versions are different. That ll make for a lag in Atrix to some extent.

2) With future upgrades, Atrix will be in a position to shoot @ 1080 HD as well.

3) Nevertheless a great vid for review.. only thing you missed out on was that u didn superimposed both the phones for a lengthwise and breadthwise comparision.

Will look fwd to other vids from ur side in future as well. Keep it up.

This is not a fair comparison because Atrix is running Android 2.2 which is buggy and slow. Galaxy SII is running 2.3...

User reports say that Galaxy II has really poor battery life.

Atrix will compete in speed when it gets Android upgrade.

@smartphoneenvy please get the GS2 off dynamic mode. This halves the brightness of the internet browser, giving an unfair impression of the Auto Brightness feature of the GS2. It also down clocks the CPU, resulting in slower redrawing and loading of pages and menus.

you seemed to be having difficulty actually using the finer motions on the touch screen (pulling down notification bar and pinch to zoom etc) for the SGS2. is it less precise or just in an awkward position or what ever?

@HyperbirdF6 gonna have to disagree with ya on that one. The GS2 is running the new TW 4.0 which fixed most of the bugs from the previous version. It's actually much faster than Motoblur as you can see through most of the review. The home key is the slowest button on the GS2 and everything else processes slightly quicker than it did on the Atrix so it's definitely a hardware issue not software

it is a software issue because if you use other launchers, and i have seen it, the home screen comes back faster.

The Atrix will be getting an update to Moto's new blur soon which is much faster, redesigned and has new features. Search for Atrix gingerbread 2.3.3 for a short video showing it.
