i have a 650 06 , i drive on the trans canada in newfoundland. it has no trouble going 110 km/hr. as for passing you have choose the right time. it gets me where i want to go, but after a couple of hours of riding my seats get a little num. it is realitively cheap on gas. easy to maintain and nibble. i have the engine guards from yamaha , they are small. what are they guarding ?
How are these 650's on the highway at speeds over 65? Been looking at one but have not test drove yet. I'm scared the 650 will be to small. The price sure is right though. I thought I read one review saying it fells like it needs a 6th gear. My local dealer has 3 2009's for sale for $5000. They are the silverado package. Might get one. I'm 6' 2" and 210lbs, think it is too small?
