i know people here in Texas that get subsudies for not growing anything. the real kicker is, they never wanted to in the first place. they have it for a place to hung and fish. isn't it nice to know that we are giving our hard earned money to them so they don't have to do anything.

Jeff, perfect point! This is an example where the government is using their citizens' tax money against them. They are using the taxes to pay farmers not to produce to increase the price of food.
