A town In the UK that invented it's own money found that it only worked when there was the people of the essential economy on board. So they found they needed (babysitters, Plumbers, Nurses, Food producers ect)

Basically you need to work carefully on building your most trusted part of the economic work force if you wish to stabilize a currency.

Cuba proved this can be done in a way that cares for nature, your point is valid but you need to work the backbone well to succeed, I wish you the best.
