Did you even open some of those games? Most of those games sucked but at least the percentage rate of the bad titles isn't as extreme as Xbox's. A gamers library should be filled with quality titles not crappy ones just to say "Look, I got more than you!" You kids should grow up already. Let's see some achievements/trophys from those games, let hear how these games challenged you. For a PS3 collection yours is pretty sad. :(

It's to maintain quality insurance. Keeps the casing to get scratched and slight messes that could ruin the case. It's no difference than people who place bags around their graphic novels or a protective plastic for baseball cards. There is nothing weird about it at all.
