On these devices (ultra-compact), does an optical image stabilizer really add a lot? I have a Sony that has "Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization" and frankly... from my layman's point-of-view, it doesn't seem to make a huge difference. (i.e. my videos seem to "shake" in a similar way to the above).

the quality in 360p is just terrible though unless you switch it to 720

if they made a higher priced one with o.i.s or at least somthin to reduce the shakeness i wuld buy it, but these r great for there price
