  • fasting is cheap

  • i actually have a rice cooker and you can get a small one for less than 50 dollars and what i love to do is put in a quarter of a cup of uncooked rice 1 can of tuna in water (or oil) 2 teaspoons od soy sauce and some veggies (usually frozen) and put that all into the rice cooker (yes everything) and it cooks the tuna steams the rice and the veggies and it makes a easy filling lunch!

  • @sopeopp That sounds delicious! I'll have to try it. Thanks for sharing :)

  • I can see the shape of your (sun)glasses :-)

  • fucking lazy bitch. couldnt even show us how to cook it

  • so i know this video is from a year ago and i hope you answer bc i have a question... im a girl that believes in butter and sugar and lots of salt, but i want to live longer for my children.. how do you get used to eating healthy? my point is that alots of heathly food taste bland or like nothing at all.. how would i go from full flavored and seasoned meals to totally heathly and how did you get used to eating this way?

  • @haexkae42008 People have been eating butter, sugar & salt for centuries. Sure they are not the best but really it's the over consumption of all 3 together and in combination with genetically modified foods that lack any nutrients - for example store bought cookies that have butter & sugar which are made with High Fructose Corn Syrup & white flour... I've always enjoyed healthy foods maybe because I know how to prepare them or choose them wisely. Have you tried the Eat Clean Diet?

  • tofu's cheap? from where I come from it usually costs even more than meat...

  • All that jelly and no toast

  • i miss my mom

  • thankyou for the ideas :) but how do you have chicken when you cant cook in dormrooms?

  • Came on here to get a cheap recipe... got a fit bird as well. Win.

  • 1:22 would my dorm room not be on campus?

  • Oooh I love the idea of mixing tuna with hummus! Yum!

  • Sarah's got the best all-around info on youtube imho, and of course it doesn't hurt that she's gorgeous lol

  • more breakfast recipes for college students

    thankkss :)

  • Goddamnit, this sucks. All you americans get have cheap food cause of your low taxes. And us Eurofags get to pay through the nose. 17 cents for peanutbutter? GIEF.

  • @wiegje she said 17 cents PER SERVING 02:00 are you deaf, or are you just "too gay", you eurofag ?

quite frankly, im french, gay and i feel offended by your using the word "fag" as a way to express your anger, scorn, and frustration. And you should be grateful to be living in the EU, this organisation protects our (european) interests like no other in the world.

  • @rubietheone3 I don't care because:

    1. You are French

    2. You are French

    3. You are French

    4. You are gay not to mention French

    5. Its fags like you that give the good gay people around the world a bad name for being stuck up melodramatic people.

    6. Just because you're gay doesn't mean you're a fag. In this case, you're a fag and French, which makes you twice as much fag as anyone else on the planet.

    7. Everyone hates the French

  • @wiegje Jesus wat geef jij domme reacties zeg.

  • @rubietheone3 lol i hope your anus burns with gonorrhoea someday.

  • @Pawnbroker00 my anus is fine, thx, and if ur protecting urself or have a steady faithful partner, u shouldn't experience venereal diseases. As a matter of fact, i'm very concerned about my health, so there's very little chance that i'll experience one day these types of disconfort.you, on the contrary don't seem to be very knowledgeable, making stupid hodgepodges like this 1: gonorrHEA (learn to spell) = Gomorrah=Homo=ANUS. Just so u know, gonorrhea doesn't affect ur anus, but ur urinal system.

  • @rubietheone3 fascinating, truly fascinating, i didnt know that already

  • I spend more than 9 hours in college sometimes, which is almost half a day :S I would really appreciate some recipes for breakfast and lunch that are easy to prepare and don't consume much time...thx in advance! :)

  • b. lunch!

  • love the food videos! So helpful :) You're rockin in that dress Sarah!!

  • Hey Sarah! I eat tuna with hummus frequently, and I usually eat this meal with two slices of ezekiel bread. For a low fat diet, do you suggest the Trader Joe's crackers instead of the ezekiel bread? Thanks!

  • Could you suggest some healthy sandwich/wrap combinations for lunch time ! x

  • Heck in college me and my roomates used to wait by the dumpster at McDonalds and wait for the trash to be throuwn out then we dumpster dived and got all the old food they threw out lol.

  • OMG:D the laughing cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is sooo funny! it's actually danish! I didn't know this existed anywhere else than in Denmark! there it's called "den leende ko" which is the same as the laughing cow!

  • I think I would like to know more recipies about snacks. I don't eat the right snacks and I know they are very important. Sometimes i skipp snacks and I eat more during the meal.

  • @ilovemyhusband1982 canned tuna is unhealthy? i eat fast every day!

  • OMG you're seriously the best haha! thank you so much for this video

  • why is the sound so low?? My volume's all the way up and it's still too soft. I can hear other videos just fine...

  • at school, by biggest weakness is a large (weak) mocha... possibly even two, any suggestions for how i could curve this craving? or any healthier 'wake up' alternative?

i also stuggle to get motivated to do a workout after a long day, need a motivational video or help

  • @91sydney i know that a mocha is way more delicous but you should try regular coffee with skimmed milk!(i know you shouldn't be drinking coffee at all but i just need it) you get used to it and it's actually just as satisfying as a mocha!

  • because it changes the molecular structure of the food and emits radation! it is more chemistry about how it is warming up the food!

  • B Lunch and A Snacks, I'm often really busy throughout the day and I'd love to have more lunch and snack ideas for carrying to college, eating between part-time jobs and internships that are actually healthy.

  • great tips... please do more!!!

If you need any advice or tip on a special topic, let me know and i'll promise to help you.

Just write me an email (AskThePeacock@yahoo.com) or write me in the comment section on each post. I'll try to help you by creating my personal "how to"-tips for you! askthepeacock.blogspot.com

  • You look beautiful and you are glowing.

  • Hi Sarah, when sauteing the frozen veggies in a wok/pan, you would need to do that in a bit of oil, correct? If so, is vegetable oil your oil of choice? And the chicken, would you saute it in vegetable oil or something else? Thanks! Tamara

  • @offtomilan I use canola because it has a higher temp capacity than olive oil. Ideally, you should olive oil mostly for salad dressings and things that don't require you to heat it. At low temps it's ok, but with any oil, as soon as you see it smoking, it's too hot and changing it's molecular make up and can harmful to your body rather than beneficial

  • B lunch!! Its hard to find good ideas. especially vegetarian. And taking a lunch is a good way to save money.

  • I'm not a college student but a busy Mom of six with a demanding job. I'm trying to put together a reasonable meal plan without my kids feeling like they're on diet. • Hi Sarah,

I love your videos! I want to request a workout clothing video.I tend to work out in the ugliest/biggest shirts and sweats you could find and i want to wear cuter things to motivate myself. IE: what are the best brands to wear? what are the best things to wear for certain exercise in certain weather? budget friendly workout clothes? how often to wash your workout clothes? etc. this will be highly appreciated as I am a new convert to the healthy lifestyle!

  • you look so pretty in pink! and snacks please :]

  • You should wear pink all the time! You look fab!

  • G! all of the above...lol

honestly I have a harder time choosing to cook something healthy for dinner

  • sarah...microwawe is not healthy at allS

  • @30KARMEN but in college it's the best you can do sometimes... cooking at home is cheaper than eating out and using a pan is more time consuming if yu don't have a lot

  • @SarahsFabChannel agreed, i am lucky if i can make eggs on the stove.

  • @30KARMEN why is the microwave not healthy? Are there any credible research supporting your worldview on microwaves?

  • @30KARMEN

    This should be good.

Please, explain why microwaving food is not healthy.

  • I would like to see more recipes on here.
