It may sound odd, but I was at that medal ceremony. I did think it was a bit odd at first when I saw her pull out the gold medal. There was a press core group asking her to pose, as they did of all the competitors. The Austrian ski jumper pulled out hos gold as well. I think it's just something they accept as normal. I'm holding firm on my likeable class act comment. She's very giving of her time, and skis even when she has serious injuries.
@turbojonn you have no idea what you are saying. i have to comment because she is the complete opposite of a class act. you obviously have not seen any of her previous runs. take the medal ceremony at these olympics when she won bronze - she actually pulled out a gold medal she had previously won and started flashing it around, as if she was trying to understate the current gold champion and take away from her moment of glory! class act? i think not!
Vonn is the best on the snow but front of media she seems to stressing a bit but she is still ok. Not annoying lady.
