I've never been too big into whatever's popular. While everyone else was playing Halo, I was still playing n64 games, gamecube, and PS2 (I never got an xbox). While everyone else listened to Greenday (when I was in middle school) I was listening to Metallica and a shitload of classic rock. And to this day, it disgusts me that a lot of people probably "like" what they "like" because everyone else "likes" it.

Someone gave me the best advice for when I was writing a script and I needed a scene and wanted it to be something no one else would. He said Troy there are 7 billion people in the world someone has already thought of your idea. Same thing applies to liking something no one else does. Someone always will. That's my opinion anyways.

I remember in elementary school "pencil breaking" was a big craze. It's where you try to break your friends pencil with yours. Kids would buy pencils just to break them all playing "pencil breaking". Then all of a sudden it went away.....

I said it "SUCKED! Its Freaking Horrible, its so freaking boring" ... saying it was bad is pretty much a compliment. There is litterally NO valid argument that you or anyone else can come up with for why it didn't suck. The likelihood that you have even seen the original Godzilla is slim so that is another reason why it sucks, influensing all you kids to think its so great. I kinda knew that would be your answer tot he first question you did in the beginning of this video, You would mean to be like "sheep" to follow a flock and not to make one's own point of few on fact. I am indeed a big horror fan and try to get every movie I can (when I see it) for a few good reasons. That and I'd love how you nailed your Clover review (and others) especially the part with it's copping from "Godzilla". It's a monster movie, what did they expect?

I do take a great interest in your views on the control of the human race. I see my friends and family become drones to celebrities and writers, which makes me worry that they are easily controlled. I think you're a little closed minded about the value of opinion, but everyone's different, and that's your way. Don't ever change because people make jerk comments. A lot of vloggers do.

Everyone around me seems to be crazy about that chick from Watchmen. I'm not, and I openly admit it. In the past I probably would have went with the flow and acted like I was, until, you know, I actually was.
That may seem insignificant, but it's really a referance to how the media brainwashes everyone to think a certain thing is "sexy", and then it spreads like a virus until the definition of real sexiness is pretty much lost to the fringe groups.

I've never been too big into whatever's popular. While everyone else was playing Halo, I was still playing n64 games, gamecube, and PS2 (I never got an xbox). While everyone else listened to Greenday (when I was in middle school) I was listening to Metallica and a shitload of classic rock. And to this day, it disgusts me that a lot of people probably "like" what they "like" because everyone else "likes" it.

I remember about a decade Yoyos became really popular after skateboarding died out.
My advice to anyone is don't read reviews for movies, just go see them because after a while you become way to critical and start to go along with what the "public" (or in this case internet community) thinks of them... I know because it happened to me.

The thing that I disagree with is you mentioned find something you like that noone else would. Someone gave me the best advice for when I was writing a script and I needed a scene and wanted it to be something no one else would. He said Troy there are 7 billion people in the world someone has already thought of your idea. Same thing applies to liking something no one else does. Someone always will. That's my opinion anyways.

I understand that it's a good thing to be open-minded and to be a free thinker without influence, but at the same tone, don't just start liking things no one has ever heard of for the sake of originality. Of course, the other side of what you're talking about those are those who take an opposing position as instinctively as those that follow the status quo, those who have their own opinion for the purpose of creating conflict, even though they belatedly come up with reasons for starting the argument. To me, the issue is more of concious reason than which position you take. I'm stating the obvious, I'm sure, just felt the need to make the distinction.
