You might want to think about what all your crazy hateful ideas keep you from thinking or doing. You are just another lemming on the Subdued and Pacified by Hate list. You have been rendered inactive. In your haste and irrational fear based thoughts, you have joined the flock of sheep you so decry. You had better start finding something positive to put energy into or you will spend the rest of your life deluded and bitter.
John McCain probably still loses to Barack Obama if Tom Ridge is his running mate. But I'll bet you its a much closer, more competitive loss that doesn't elevate the embarrassing Sarah Palin into national prominence for the Republicans.
Ridge probably would have delivered Pennsylvania and would have helped more in Ohio. Palin was a detraction to McCain because she was a distraction (who ever heard of a VP candidate going rogue).
The GOP needs a lot more of Ridge and less of Limbaugh and token Steele.
Good point. However, it acknowledges that the GOP is now beholden to a group of single issue voters, and consequently the party cannot make the necessary compromises to be a big tent party.
10 Facts 1. Your reading my comment 2. Now your saying/thinking thats a stupid fact. 4. You didnt notice that i skipped 3. 5. Your checking it now. 6. Your smiling. 7. Matthews never asks a straight question and should never get a straight answer because his questions are political bait. Only a stupid fish would bite. Ridge answered rightly. It's about time the republicans started paying attention as to who is asking the baited questions. Doc AC
If Republicans were going pay attention to anything, baited questions would probably be last on the list. They could start by paying attention to reality and the truth, this appears to be a major challenge for them. The Republican Party has descended into the netherworld of subjective reality, a world of lies designed to exploit the fears and anxieties of the American people. They might pay attention to the paradigm shift that has taken place in the collective consciousness of our country.
Such a shift brought about the election of the most underqualified person ever to hold office. And his vp even worse. Keep on promising the uninformed, uneducated masses of the Nirvana that awaits them. Without them, the DEMONCRAT party doesn't exist.
LOL, Your hope for imaginary promises doesn't make it so, please refer to the above comment, "start by paying attention to reality and the truth,.. descended into the netherworld of subjective reality, a world of lies designed to exploit the fears... of the American people". There will be no Nirvana, no Utopia. However, the death of the Republican Party will feel good, and the country will finally be able to move beyond the restraints of dogma and ignorance the GOP has promoted.
I'm sure Matthews would give the same answer if the positions were reversed. Either that or claim because he was a 'journalist' he had to remain neutral as he did last year. :-)
Ridge endorsed Toomey, which means he doesn't like Sestak, and he's a moderate. Showed that Sestak is the more extreme of the two.

I sincerely doubt it. Ridge wouldn't have energized more people than Palin.
