which brushes are best for mineral eye shaow application? synthetic or natural bristles? and if natural bristles, which type of fur?

Synthetic for application, but sometimes I'll use natural for final blending. Since the minerals are so loose, the non-sticky nature of the synthetic is good because the minerals won't get sucked up into the brush and will go straight to the lid. :)

I finally got my Enkore set!! However how do you get the best payoff using these shadows? They are so sheer. Gorgeous colors but super sheer. I really like the blush also, its an intense color but goes on beautifully.? We need a tut on the Enkore:-)

most of the colors are great for that washed looks, but you can use a damp/wet brush and it will make it more intense.

I agree, I got my set and find that the shadows are very sheer. My skin tone which is medium doesn't help either.

Hey koren, I am just wondering what are the differences between mineral eyeshadows and pigments besides the fact that one is made of minerals but the color payoff and intensity wise? are they both multipurpose?

the payoff and intensity are pretty much the same depending on the color and finish. However, mineral eyeshadows use natural colorants and metals like Iron Oxides, while Pigments uses dyes like DC and F&C.

try a different base, cause rice based will clog pores

Really? I wish I would have known that four years ago... I tried a rice-based product from bath and body works, and it made me break out soooo badly. I still have scars from it!

This is so cool! I'm one of the testers and I LOVE the eyeshadows. I'm a make-up junkie and these eyeshadows are my favorite! Most eyeshadows crease on me but these lasted me 8+ hours including a nap. And that's without primer!
