As to defending the cops - I think I'll take a pass on that. For every story you can tell me about something some criminal has done to a cop....I can tell you a thousand stories of what cops have done to innocent citizens. Where is there support of us? Where is there support of our Constitutional Rights...our GOD GIVEN RIGHTS. I'll support the cops when I see them acting as such; other then that - NO!

Shouldn't worry so much about individual replies to responses; you'll never keep up! We'll all know, anyway.

As for our police the other first responders in our communities, it's a tough job and often thankless, so some recognition is always a good thing! I know I wouldn't be up to facing what ANY of them do, so I do my best to show them courtesy and respect when I can, much as should be shown our servicemen and women.
