My eldest son had to be circumcised (done in a hospital by the ay not some bloody home job) due to medical reasons, he was put under anesthetic for the operation and i can tell you now it was sore atleast for a few hours. I felt horrible for him having to go through that and im pretty sure i cried more than him before and after he had it done. No pain killer is given to child, and he quickly gets over the pain. I find that you are over-reacting, since this is the way it has been done for ages.
