  • i love the way the crowd enjoy the song by clapping ..wish i could see trace play live atleast ones..

  • If I grew my thumbnail that long my girlfriend would cut it off in the midlle of the night.. ha.. nice use of the looper

  • The whole song is very relaxing, especially in the begining

  • 38 thought that the 'dislike' button was 'download' button

  • no me gusta primero tiene musica de acompañamiento y esta es mailisisisisima no hay nada como slash

  • If that guitar could come alive, it would be the happiest guitar ever because it is owned by someone who knows how to make music with it!

  • @McAeroxX you 100.000 but I did 403.508 of them :P

  • great cover

  • what's the difference with him looping and playing along with a cd? why doesn't this dipshit just hire a band?

  • @shimanchunutakara I have heard and read some shit in my time but your comment is idiotic at best. The reason he doesn't is that he doesn't need a band.

  • @MrAdog1980 you're right, who needs a band when u can just play along to a jam track?

  • @shimanchunutakara

Because it shows a bit more skill, and Finesse, that he doesn't need them. Truly a One man show.

  • @shimanchunutakara moron. it just means you don't know the art.

  • @cuakevinlex trace bundy is an artist like a cd player is a musical instrument.

  • @shimanchunutakara he didn't even use a cd player loser.

  • @cuakevinlex you're a moron.

  • @shimanchunutakara I prefer to use a looking pedal over a band or backing track because it gives much more freedom to a singele person. A guitarist with a looping pedal and passion doesnt have to worry about his music becoming sterile, but that's a major problem in bands. Also, i'm a controll freak, so i (personally) much prefer to controll the extra parts myself.

  • @TheRockClassicfan that's weird. loopinging means the same shit over and over again. wouldn't that be closer to the definition of sterile? but whatever's clever trevor. i prefer the opposite. jamming with others allows for collaboration and improvisation. everyone has a part in the band and brings their own sound. if you're by yourself you're gonna be pretty one dimensional and lacking in substance especially if you're looping the same lick over and over.

  • @shimanchunutakara Looping alows you to change the flow of a song, and what i mean by becoming sterile is the different band members all have different infulences, different styles, and different genre's they specialize in playing. At the beginning, these provice the distinctive style of a band, but the difference between good and great bands is a good band eventually has problems not letting those 'voices' clash with eachother

  • @shimanchunutakara but it's all personal preferance, ik a bunch of people that prefer bands specifically because of those different voices, i personally prefer looping because it's more flexible to people that know how to effectively use a pedal, which can be pretty hard to master

  • Didn't notice the capos til about midway through. Too busy watching his fingers create this melody.

  • Trace Bundy, the King of Capos... :D

  • My favorite song, done by my favorite guitarist. I've never seen anyone be so creative with their guitar. He rocks.

  • Got capo? :)

  • Got a spare capo? Haha, seriously man, that sounded awesome

  • WHATS THE TUNING!!!

  • WOW; made me smile!

  • The head of the guitar is dangerous XD

  • I've always liked this song but just listening to the acoustic version takes it to a whole different level!! Trace is nothing short of amazing!

  • Amazing!!!

  • @JokiVlog Nah, he always announces what is he going to play so I think that's why this song starts with some noise already.

  • You cannot compare Igor and Trace because they are both very talented individual's that are doing it in their own style, its like comparing Clapton with Knopfler, both have their own special sound and style but they often get compared to each, other even though their so different, why cant people just enjoy the music created(even if it is just a cover) instead of arguing who's the best???

  • @JokiVlog They applauded when it was appropriate..when he fully began the song.

  • Damn nice, I never bore of Bundy and his arrangements.

Not to troll but Igor does this w/o without loops, :)

  • @GypsysRoad Yeah, and there's others who also plays it without loops (at least live), like Slash for example. But Igor doesn't have as many different parts as Trace has here and I guess that's the point - to get a wider sound picture than you would get from playing a "regular" fingerstyle arrangement!

  • @salomon9595 Dude I was just funning on him, and BTW Igor does an amazing job of filling in all parts of the song including drums, w/o loops, best cover on here IMO.

  • awesome

  • Whole song? WTF? Nice arrangement BTW

  • *care

  • Why you are if hes gay

  • hes arrangements are a work of a genius ..

  • Not trying to be a dick but is he gay?

  • someone tell him long fingernails are disgusting!

  • @allseevid its for plucking the strings

  • @allseevid think b4 u comment

  • I want to be trace for Halloween!!

  • Looping genius. No really

  • @MikaShelley99 Zack Kim was also excellent at looping. Unfortunately, he took down his channel. But some fans uploaded some of his videos. Search Zack Kim robot dance. Amazing loops in that song.

  • love this cover! brilliant use of looping! :D

also love the use of armonics!

  • @MrCPentland Armonics: The expensive suit of guitar playing

  • help...my ears are screaming of pure ecstasy....

    orgasms in my ears

  • SO. MANY. CAPO'S!

  • the people who disliked this disappear into the void. the real people pay no attention.

  • I really hate gnr but I love this. I could sit for hours listening to this one rendition. Beautiful

  • @weekoony How can you hate Guns n' Roses...????

  • @inxa123 people in my life ruin things for me

  • @weekoony I can't understandОO

  • @EugenePoluyachtov Have you ever disliked someone so much that near enough everything they like and do irritates you at least a bit?

  • @weekoony No, I respect all people engaged in creative work and not spend time on all sorts of crap. gnr is not my most favorite band, but they also have great songs and I respect this group for these songs

  • @EugenePoluyachtov Only one song do i like at all and it's because it used to be my brothers ring tone and i liked it but all others i really do not like

  • i LOATHE gnr, but this rendition KICKS ASS!!! i could actually listen to this version for years...which is unheard of for me when it comes to runs in hoses. this is just too damn cool!!

  • camon people singggggggggggg people singgggggggg

  • So enjoyable

  • I think he could do a great version of Waiting for the Sun.

  • WOW~NEVER SEEN LIKE THAT! AMAZING~GREAT~

  • does any1 have the full tabs for this? cud i have plz

  • Wow some guy "playing"along with a recording......

  • @StygianEagle

A recording that he records live... as in, he plays it live, records it and loops it so he can play more and add to the song. Thats why you hear multiple sounds... i know this must be complicated for you, but you'll be ok :)

learn about the subject before you speak.

  • @StygianEagle He's using a loop pedal you idiot, its all done live on the spot.

  • awesome

  • waw, he is a good player guitar acoustic, amazing...........

  • @djaism He plays all of it. there are these neat things called loop pedals that will record you and play it back. Multiple pedals + Multiple lines of melody= this video. Really it takes a lot of fore-thought and practice to line up your loops. Really impressive from any point of view.

  • I just bought a Line 6 DL4, searched for a while on YouTube, found this, and now I have a project.

  • I think ill just say a comment on behalf of all youtube veiwers because we are all to scared and intimidated to leave one........your just too good. period

  • Awesome and there is not two guitars hes looping.

  • so many capos....

  • Comment removed

  • Probs the best cover at of them all :D

  • i bet that guitar didn't kno it could play that

  • q bosta!

  • This is the best one on youtube but just 438.278 hits? :(

  • Somehow it sounds like he is singing the song with his guitar :P

  • the only reason 28 people disliked this is because traces version is so good and complex that they cant play it

  • my thoughts exactly

  • who's playing the other part? coz at the beginning, he wasn't even doing anything and it was playing....

  • @akaQ9 It's called looping, he makes all the sounds and records them one by one

  • @akaQ9 hes using a looper. he plays one of the parts to the song and it loops it for him, then he plays the other parts over the loop.

  • Brilliant!!!!

  • How many capos could one guitar possibly need?

  • @Garroxta that's exactly what I was thinking lol

  • @Garroxta 4 it seems

  • @Garroxta Hot Capo Stew uses every one of those capos

  • @Garroxta I'm wondering if they are there to help sustain by adding mass to the headstock - a bit like the Fat Finger? Lucky he didn't have someones eye out :)

  • @tc35drum Watch the rest of his vids bud....yal soon see what he can do with em!!

  • @davyhboro Amazing, I'll have to get me some more of them :)

  • y does he ahve 5 capos on his guitar

  • @freddykrugar10 at this concert he does a and= original called"five capo". look it up, its pretty good.

  • @freddykrugar10 Yes... and in songs like "Hot capo stew" you can see him using them. :-)

  • Really good, better without the stupid clapping from the audience...

  • wow this guy is good! amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • Hmm... wonder who he's gonna kill with that mace of a guitar ;)

  • yo sé de alguien que le encantan los GNR y no debe conocer esta versión... se lo mandaré de regalo!

  • you need more capos trace

  • if you haven't noticed, the fingernails on trace's right hand are all manicured into the shape of guitar picks. seriously. dedication my friends, haha

  • hate to break it to you bro but that's not the entire song...i seem to remember a pretty epic solo in there somewhere

  • Trace you turned an absolutely amazing song, into one of the most beautiful sounds my ears have ever heard. Thank you.

  • Hey, he's looping! He's using the same looping pedal as one of the 2 that l use, the Line 6 DL4. I use that and an Roland RC20, but l'm getting the RC50 next week. This is some great stuff!

  • 22 people have no idea that Trace is a ninja.

  • This sucks, thats all i have to say about it.

  • @stacewashere what do you mean Trace is a ninja?

  • @stacewashere what did you mean that Trace is a ninja?

  • @nikko16wr He's known as the acoustic ninja because he's so talented and his hands move incredibly fast. Hence the name of the song "Dueling Ninjas"

  • @stacewashere 27 now :(

  • @stacewashere I think they should remove the dislike button for some vids....

  • @stacewashere yeah...he can escape without a trace.

  • how may i get the tab?

  • @doggieskater u never will find one.

  • class man.love the rec pedal.& sustain sounds great.

  • why he have many capo ? WTF

  • @timeischemical He actually uses all those capos

  • @mattyone78 he use all his capo's in a single guitar?

  • @timeischemical there is a vid on here of him using 5 capos in one song

  • @timeischemical These capos are not full capo there is only 1 real capo the other ones block only 1 string. In the song Hot capo Stew, he use all of them.

  • WUOOOOOOo la kago el weon increibleee (y)

  • boss rc-2 is a pretty good loop pedal

  • He probably has no trouble getting laid.

  • i like how the audience dont even recognise the song untill 1:35 :D

  • @Killerneedle12546 You'd have to have never heard this song before to not recognize it until 1:35. You should be able to recognize it at #0:11

  • @Draik41 maybe cuz the intro was played as a harmonic and was very muted they couldn't hear it.

  • @Killerneedle12546

Its actually because thats when hes finished looping. Im pretty sure they knew what song it was lol...

  • @Killerneedle12546 hahaha the world it's really strange

  • Is this from a DVD?

  • dude i love your sound/style of pure music

  • can any1 send me a message telling me what the actual name for what he uses for "live looping" id really like to get one. i bet there expensive!

and maybe some brands they would suggest so i dont waste my money.

  • @yahoosucksbigones they just call them loop pedals go to any guitar center anywhere and they'll hook you up

  • @yahoosucksbigones If your looking for a decent brand, Zoom pedals are excellent, loads of different types and prices - one for everyone! :D

  • Is it just me or is clapping along with the music just lame?

  • God damng it, I hate audience members who clap. It is so annoying to have people clap. Some musicians love it, but when I do small gigs at local bars it gets so annoying. Maybe I'm too amateur but I also hate it when I go to concerts of more well known musicians.

  • @DutchPenquin

It can kinda fuck up the musician because they then have to follow the tempo of the audience, who could well be illcoordinated fuckdivs. Possibly.
