I have not checked the video in years! Almost 20,000 hits!
This is an earlier version of the layout and there ARE two single (one left one right) lane changers in the original black plastic sections of the straight. There is also the router cross-over in the tight turn to the right of the plastic straight-a-way.
I completely left out the plastic track except for the lane changers and I am now starting on a completely new track! The Carrera power is wired directly to the copper tape.
hi i just built a huge track out of mdf the same way as u but i have 3 lanes and i was wondering what i should use for a power source and if i could make one myself
ok, so more than one car in the line... but no passing can be achieved if there isn't a lane change somewhere on the track. otherwise you're just stuck behind the guy in front of you. not much of a race if theres no passing... hmmm maybe this is a formula1 layout! haha xD
sure is a nice track...
( and car no2 is supersmooth! )
grtz!

probably that you can drive more than 1 car in 1 line.

The track construction is pretty old school-
Botom line is you cut a 1/8" slot into the MDF with a router and lay copper tape on each side for the power.
