i have never seen any one racing a banshee only once and the guy had to reposision the motor because it was 2 front end heavy and besides that way more maintenance needed on a 2 stroke race quad rather than 4 stroke. so if you are going to race best off gettin a 4 stroke.

Aye, they listen to people saying things like "Oh but you gotta replace the piston every 20 hours otherwise it'll explode blah blah!" but in fact, it's not really true. Gearbox oil is one thing though, oil is long molecules and those will break down to shorter ones and eventually make the oil film break. But about engine parts; running time doesn't really matter alot, you can ass rape a piston in 5 hours, or you can treat the stuff with some care and run 40+ hours before it wears out. =)

I'm thinking about getting back into quad racing.

The only thing is I don't know what the appopriate sized quad is for me.

I'm too big for a 90cc now haha.

I'm about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh 125, so a 350 should be about right i'm guessing.

my dads got a banshee but he doesn't use it anymore, so i'm thinking about taking it over.

any ideas anyone?
