I'm a freshman in college now...it's only been one quarter but I've lost contact with most of my friends I didn't talk to all the time, and I talk to my best friends way less than I expected to.

I have a facebook group with some of my closer friends and that helps us keep in touch, I'd suggest trying that if you don't want to lose your friends when you go off to college.

Class of 2010 speaking. This song is very true. Facebook is pretty much the only time I ever talk to any of my friends from HS anymore. I don't regret it too much. College is much better for me than HS ever was.

But, to those of you still in HS, keep this in mind:

1) Those 4 years will be the fastest 4 years of your life thus far.

2) If you want to keep good with your old friends, make sure you either go to the same college or one really close by.
